  • I know how to tal

  • "Shouldn't of slept" ... Would you please kill yourself?

  • Being a German minor this made my day when i found it.

  • Jeder wird hier zum mann, sogar du

Everyone will be a men, even you?

  • Sung this for my german class!!!!!!

  • yay really cool

  • Sei ein mann = best lyric ever.

  • German is even more epic with this song.

  • Hetalia anyone?

  • @LPadfootSB162 that's what brought me here :)

  • one more word about nazis and I´ll freak out!!!!!

  • @KUR1SU wow you´re so funny ^^

  • @TwilightFanSarah91 I know right? btw: I'm German too. But I just don't get butthurt over that. Because it's just natural. Nazis are a big (very sad) part of our history so of course it's on people's minds all the time.

  • @KUR1SU ( I´m German too ) Ok we should not forget about it but I hate it when peaople say all Germans are Nazis!

  • If they had Till Lindemann as the singer we couldn't watch this, witnessing the manliness would be physically exhausting.

  • i like the german version ;)

  • ... I have no idea why, maybe it's because I'm obsessed with the german language right now, but I found this ... just... perfect. I don't know. I really really really liked this version. The singer had a great voice, and the translation went really smooth.

This language went so well with the beat!

  • who is the singer for Shang? he's so good!

  • @alcoholicferret German is, of course, the MANLIEST language.

  • This is so much more intense in German...

  • @Swettipus4: Wirklich? I understand the German pride and all but (coming from a born and raised deutche) not cool.

  • man i wish learning my native language was as easy as learning german.... ah well...

  • I don't know why but the German versions of some Disney songs are just amazing much like the originals :)

  • Is it wrong that when I closed my eyes I could only see an SS officer?

  • @leeham991 hahahaha I'm sure the Nazis used to sing this song in the concentration camps.

  • The lyrics to this are actually better than the original English O.o

  • Is it weird that I actually learn German from these types of song before and after class?

  • i love this song ! and i love german too !! I'm italian :)

  • lol I guess it's not for me XD it just sounds too weird without an asian accent language in it, English only worked because it was the original xD

  • @kevinkorte100 ok and now FICK DIR IN DEINE SCHEIß FRESSE!!

  • @tropicthunder332 i dont understand what u r sayin

  • @kevinkorte100 thats the joke ;) depp^^

  • @tropicthunder332 Fick *dich*, bitte. Und ß wird zwischen Großbuchstaben zu SS.

  • @Anvilshock

    1. hab ich das von dem Video ;D watch?v=eqEOWrDfcLY

    2. macht dein Satz mit ß und SS keinen Sinn, weil ich mämlich SS geschrieben habe

    3. denk drüber nach und genieße das Video

  • Okay, so I think the English sounds better (because that's the language it was composed for, herp-de-derp). But one thing that I really like about the German version is the use of pronouns in the chorus. Each time the chorus uses a different one. :D

  • Such a motivational song in german....couldnt be manlier

  • German's so manly as a language, if the singer sounded more manly, this song would be unsurpassed in badassery.

  • 1:09 is actually "you have to risk everything" and not "all of you must risk"

  • I have one thing to say:

    Hetalia.

  • "You must be hot as hell's fire" Yeah...No wonder Hunchback was most popular in Germany. This is my favorite translation. The Danish has my favorite singer (Stig Rossen)

  • I love the German version! And thanks for the translation! 8D

  • @Xommon I also really like the german translation.

"Jeder wird hier zum mann, sogar du!"

I think it was an excellent choice for the name of the song.

  • ooh, hoellenfeuer! very epic. I like that these translations have their own twist to fit the tune

  • Is this singer Alea from Saltatio Mortis? He sounds just like him.

  • @psychgoth no he isn´t

  • mandarin, cantonese, polish, german are the best ones

  • I really like this translation even better than the original text. Singer isn't my favourite tought but still this version gets my points from the translation and how well it matches to the original lyrics being even little more poetic in some places.

And it doesn't hurt that I've always loved german language.

  • @Henkila Really? You like the German translation better than the English? I think each language's translation suits itself because sometimes they use idioms that are only comprehendable in their own language.

  • He sounds sexy. 8D

  • This song sounds good in German. Best way to practice German, listen to old Disney songs! Lol.

  • Hooray for listening to Disney songs in different languages! this should help me learn German :)

  • WOW just amazing! I love you guys <3

    ich liebe deutschland <3

  • Ich liebe die deutsche Version. x3

Im Gegensaz zu englisch wirkt der Song wesentlich Kraftvoller und wird nicht so weich gesungen.

Und die Übersetzung war Spitze xD~

  • I was listening tothiw while i was doing my german homework..and i was FUCK YEAH! XD

  • Does this song work in every language?

  • @STOOPIDTIME Not every single language in the world - but most of the major languages, such as English, Spanish, French, German, Mandarin, Japanese, and many, many more.

  • @Xommon Why are those languages major?

  • @STOOPIDTIME It's in at least 30 languages. Some are variations of a language because the dialect is different in those areas, I believe.

  • @TheDarklugia444 how do you directly say knuckle sandwich in most of these languages? You can't because it's an American slang so they have to interpret the idea instead and say something similar but not exact.

  • @beshnola I know that. I meant there are variations of languages like Spanish since in different Spanish-speaking areas of the world are different dialects. The Latin American version is different from Spain's version because the Spanish is slightly different because of this.

  • @TheDarklugia444 yeah most ppl don't realize most languages have different dialects and accent.Even American English has different accents like a southern accent, New York accent and dialect like Ebonics.

  • @beshnola Yep. A lot of countries and languages are like that.

  • @STOOPIDTIME It's awesome in danish too.

  • i just listened to this in german cuz im obsessed with tokio hotel

  • german are beautiful language, i always want to learn them

  • i just cant get enough of disney songs in different languages

  • fuck yes German :3

  • be awesome if they got rammstein to do this

  • I just listened to this due to my huge Tokio Hotel obsession. Is that too sick?

  • @renuch123 Hmm. Quite so. XD Sorry.

  • @renuch123 Actually yes, considering that everyone here hates Tokio Hotel, or at least all guys do.

  • @renuch123 Noooo. I'd do pretty terrible things for Gustav Schäfer <333

  • @renuch123 You should get your head checked for listening to Tokio Hotel =/

  • @renuch123 don't worry, you're not alone in that, ^_^ I also came across this because of Tokio Hotel. ^_^

  • @renuch123 oh yes XD DIE TOKIO HOTEL DIE ! :D

  • @renuch123 Not really. Each to their own, I guess. ^^

  • Oh mein Gott, das ist doch kaum zu glauben! Hier wird die deutsche Version eines Liedes in einem Kinderfilm reingestellt und einige fangen wieder mal an über Hitler und die Nazis zu reden.

Oh my god, I can hardly believe this! The German version of a song in a children's movie is uploaded here and some people already start talking about Hitler and the Nazis!

  • Thanks a lot for posting this!

I'm studying German and am sure it will become handy in no time :D

  • listen to polish version, please :}

  • @mmeMadalaina I have! It's amazing! One of my favourites! :D

  • @mmeMadalaina I heared it. Yeah, no... It sucked.

  • @mmeMadalaina

    Polish version is super =)

  • Ich liebe Deutsch und ich liebe mulan. Oh yes :D

  • @Tonzai2002 Very innapropriate.

  • @Swettipus4 Seriously? How do you sleep at night? Troll.

  • weren't the Germans called the hun as well at one point by the brits

  • For me..I like the Spanish version :'D (Mostly because I am and all...well Hispanic anyway~)

  • You must be as HOT AS HELL'S FIRE!

The lyrics in this version are much manlier. Also, I felt the wording during the part where he's telling her to leave is much more intense in German. However, I think the actual singing is better in English.

  • I love the German version of this. it just feels so much more...awsome =D It sends shivers up my heart!

  • i wish till lindemann from rammstein sang that...

  • The best song Disney has ever made! i find this version and the hebrew version the best!

  • Ich liebe dieses Lied haha :)

Mulan war immer eines meiner Lieblings-Disney-Filme!

  • :D

Awesome. Loved how you flashed your translating copyright at the end. Loved even more that you subbed this. :D

    Thanks!

  • greek is much better!xD

  • @hardrockas96 Your oppinion.

  • Comment removed

  • I do realize songs with a march rythm and overall those with a certain air of war in them sound kinda right in German but when will people stop to mention Hitler already? We're living in 2010!

  • @Neowitch I know, right? Thank you, for that. :)

  • der ist ja irgendwie schon hot xD Haha

  • i dont know why, but i got goosebumbs listening to this!

  • Merci beaucoup, beau travail

  • Oh, man. Watching this makes me miss home. This brings back so many memories of my childhood seeing this, so thanks! <3

Now, excuse me, I think I wanna go sob over how much a ticket to Frankfurt am Main costs. :)

  • @waterlizardz123 no he couldnt, the song didnt exist at times of hitler

  • @retsaweman it was a joke -___-

  • @waterlizardz123 there are no funny jokes about him.. -.-

  • Das ist Sehr Gut... Ich liebe Deutsch!!!

  • XD I need to stop looping this....

  • Thank you so much, this was excellent! It really helped to have both the German lyrics and the English ones at the same time, it made it much easier to follow along.

  • @Xommon Merci!!!!

  • @10ferg De rien!!!!!

  • German awesome!!

  • How come some of the lyrics are different than the original?

  • @10ferg So it would rhyme in the language sung and have correct grammar and syntax in the language.

  • @10ferg hes got it wrong thats y

  • "now the fun is over because I'm aware" is not even trying to be close to the original english.

  • @WikitronNinja If you could understand what they where saying in german. You would understand why. You effing moron. :)

  • italian and german version are the best!!!!!!!!

  • german verios is the ebst on the world!

  • Yao voice is so funny XD I can't stop listening to it!!

Why does Shang's voice sound so sexy in all the languages?

  • The lyrics are different than in the English version :(

  • @AtheistInsight Of course!! They needed it to rhyme.

  • @Xommon :(

  • @AtheistInsight it's actually pretty darn close if you think about how difficult it is to translate from one language into another & keep the rhyming effect...

  • @AtheistInsight And they need to make the lines have the right syllables too

  • @staysunsaid No, I don't have to. This may be a translation; but I wasn't trying to remake this song into English.

  • @Xommon Oh, I meant that Disney couldn't literally translate the original song into German because it wouldn't fit, not that you needed to. :)

  • BA, my friends, BA. love it ^^

  • they did a bad job with that one.... :( normally i like german better but this song << )

  • I thought that this song would sound good in german (cause its such a srtong language) but finally it's not o.O (in my opinion), maybe the singer doesnt sing it the way I would like him to : p

  • @ALynnChan What?! I thought the German version was decent. ^^ If you want to hear a bad version of this song, listen to Castilian (European Spanish), he singer is so gentle. If you want to hear a bad dub of German, listen to "Why Should I Worry" in German.

  • @Xommon ah ah ok I will take a look at it :p

but have you seen the french version of this song?! it's sooo much more powerful o.O which is probably why I dont really like this one :p

  • @Xommon cant find the Castilian version... :(

  • @ALynnChan

    Here's the Castilian version: /watch?v=s5zDU1rx9FY&feature=PlayList&p=1F8416AEABD84571&playnext_from=PL&playnext=1&index=18

But, I think I meant this version: /watch?v=U0uJ6uBMNOo&feature=related

This is the Spanish version. It's so soft.

  • @Xommon wow!! you're right!! o.O really bad!! way too soft o.O but I still prefer the french version than the german :p though the german sounds better to me since I've heard the spanish one XD

  • @ALynnChan XD I like the French version better too. My favourite versions are Hebrew and Polish! Listen to Polish- he sounds so... violent! xD

  • @Xommon oh really?? i will give it a try then ^^

  • I absolutely love this version! ^-^ And its language! I'm studying it right now and I'm not too bad at it, as far as it goes. I've heard this song quite a bit and with these subtitles I've figured out I understood a lot by ear! =3 Thanks for the upload!

  • No problem! Glad you liked it.

  • @Lioness854 Me too!

  • Germen is sooo cool! I'm happy I can understand it cuz I'm swedish x3! But sometimes it sounds scary ^^'! German is perfect for this song :D. Heehe ^^' sorry for my bad english xD!

  • Nej nej! Du har perfekt engelska.

  • @Morrkott hey, umm... would it be too much if you make a video of hitlers men with this music?

  • i think german doesn't fit the song..

  • This is probably the coolest translation I've come across. Sogar besser dann Hercules! Entschueldigen, meine Deutschen ist sehr schlecht. =D aber dies ist so ausgezeichnet!

  • Haha! Thanks! ^^

"Entschuldigung, mein Deutsch ist sehr schlect. =D Aber das ist so toll!"

  • Okay, quick question. At 2:20 or so, he says "...bald seid ihr so weit." My question is (as a new learner of German, natch), why didn't he say "bald seid ihr bereit", especially since it would not have affected the rhyme in the least? Doesn't "so weit" mean something like "so far"?

  • I guess it does mean: "... soon you'll be so far". But I not only translated it into English, but I switched up some of the words so that a normal Englishman or American could understand it completely. I don't know... if that's called transliterating?

  • @teniguafez "bald seid ihr so weit" means "soon you´ll be ready". When you say "ich bin so weit" you mean "I´m ready"

  • This sounds good in german :)

  • I don't get it, why did they change the lyrics from "I'll make a man out of you!" to "Everyone becomes a man, even you!"?

  • To make it rhyme, to match the same amount of syllables, and because maybe the phrase "I'll make a man out of you" in English may not have the same meaning in other languages.

  • @Xommon

I know of at least two languages where that particular phrase has sexual connotations.

  • I like this song...I think these lyrics fit better than some of the other german versions I've seen...

  • Tysk er et morsomt språk.

    Jeg liker det :D

  • Tror du det er mange som forstår hva du skriver?

    Jeg liker denne versonen ^.^

  • Norsk er også god! :D

  • This version is badass.

  • Haha - I know! ^-^

  • heyhey, I'm Austrian, which is a german speaking country and we dont swear, we are nice people. hahahaha.

good job in translating this (some little mistakes dont hurt anyone, hm ^.-)

  • Danke schön. And "hell" isn't a swear depending on how you use it.

  • @Xommon: That's right!

We would never swear to kids :P!

Hot like hell fire... Ok. Maybe it's not the best description! Excuse me :D!

  • german is a nice language :) but do they really have to swear to kids? D: (yes the hell's fire part)

  • It's not meant to be a swear. :P

It's just describing how hot it was. :| Or at least I think.
