Both versions are great, but i still prefer the original UK version, that remains my fave beatles album, can't beat drive my car as an opener!

yeah we all grew up w/ i've just see..as the opener and yes it does flow better then w/ drive my car..but the real lp has many more songs,and that's the way the beatles put it out..america chopped up lp's to get more lp's/......it's all good.....the mixes seem diff too.....

is it just me or is the playback speed of these US versions of the albums a tad slower than the UK versions?

I've also always liked the North American version better. You lose some variety, but what you gain is a more sustained and deeper mood. The best rainy day album of all time.

I kind of like "I've Just Seen A Face" as the opener.... But, it's hard to pretend that "Drive My Car" isn't there, haha.
