@Jubiejai TVB's "Enjoy Yourself Tonight" must've hold its own comp. in 1983. Jacky must have been participating in a few singing contests before he won the Hong Kong's 18 districts singing contest in 1984. Maybe to get more on the stage experience and settle down his nerves. It may have been a nerve racking thing back then sing live before an audience and to have your face beamed on TV to about a few million residences.
