That river would be alot better if they would put a fish ladder on it. Then the fish could use the upper parts of the river to spawn. then it would make the river 10 times better than it already is.

I agree, but then thats the story with about 90% of Michigan rives. Have you ever fished the upper parts of the Ausable in Mio? Man if that had steelhead in it, it would be the best in the world to me.

Yes fished the whole river and the big man has higher water quality. with more tribs that would produce.

If you fished the north side it wouls be maggots, mayfly nymphs/stoneflies and roe. All the same though.
