Thanks for the tip, I asked around on some other quake vids how they coded them but didn't get any good answer.
I modded quite a bit when playing, but reinstalled q2 recently because I missed some of these demos and couldn't find them on youtube or elsewhere, so this is original q2 config.
hehe nice, i am a active quake player myself, im pretty much hooked to Quake 4 now and looking forward to QuakeLive. I have become 2d in clanbase nationscup, 2d in clanbase eurocup and 4th in clanbase eurocup and won clanbase opencup aswell.
Thanks. About Purri: I stopped playing a bit before q3 was released, and about two years or so after I played last time I installed q2 again and went onto a public duel server. I was pretty decent when active, I played a lot with many of the best players regularly. A guy named "purri" who I had never heard of at the time connected, and beat me so hard I have no words to describe it. Amazing speed and SSG. He was really cool, he told me to come by their IRC channel afterward and we talked a bit.
You could use some polyblend, modulate and mayby exture pak.
