Everyone that says psp go is bad just has a psp 1000 2000 or 3000 but for your first psp the psp go is the way to go! The vita is gonna be bigger than the 1000 and the 1000 is a brick and the vita doesnt have a umd either its just touch screen and weighs as much as a xbox 360 slim but a little smaller. The psp go has everything except touch screen witch is pointless. You hold the vita with one hand and touch with the other it weighs alot to so after an hour your arm will get sore. The psp go= :)

Its sad that PSP Go dosent have the UMD drive slot in it but thats what makes it GO. If PSP go would had UMD drive it would be bigger and i wouldnt say it go anymore because then it would be bigger than PSP 3000 its alot upt ot the user if you travel a lot I prefer the PSP go but if you just play it sometimes i prefer PSP 3000. I travel a lot and i own a PSP go its really worth it but its up to user i like PSP go because i dont need to carry all UMD's with me. Thats just my opinion its up to you

Overall the GO is better. I'm not saying that as an opinion, it has more to offer. Smaller, Bluetooth, more built in memory, memory stick slot, and already they have 2 exploits for it(one is an emulator exploit, the other is a ROM exploit for free games), no need for UMDs, and better resolution and contrast. I'm not saying the 3000 is bad or anything cuz i still like it, but the GO has it beat. UMDs are outdated.

general gamers who already had a previous model would most likely stick with the 3000, whereas anybody else or gamers with extra money on their hands would find the Go a useful necessity. The real factor lies in wether you are willing to abandon your UMD stock for raw data if you have or had a previous model or unless you have extra money to blow.

@Tucabert it's simple... sony doesn't have a transfer type program available that would allow u to put UMDs onto the GO, so for peeps who spent hundreds or thousands of dollars on UMDs would have to go buy the games again for download onto the GO, and even though the GO can get up to 32gbs of space, there is always the chance u fill it up with music, movies, and games, as for UMDs they are easily exchangeable. it's more of a "i'm not wasting cash for somethin almost the same as what i have..."

@Tucabert Although, i'm not downing the GO, i'm just stating why alot of others down it, cuz so far the only reason they down it is because of the lack of a UMD drive, which isn't that bad, just as you can change UMDs, u can use memory sticks and exchange those, they are smaller and can hold way more than 1 game. the GO has better contrast than the 3000 and is smaller and sleeker. Although the GO does lack actual hacks, it has several exploits, but the 3000 has the pandora battery. i'm a GO fan.

I am new to playstation and i buyed a psp3000 for the following reason:

1. psp3000 have UMD while psp go have 16GB internal space only(which i dont need, i already buyed 3 4GB memory sticks and i can get infinite of them. so PSP3000 have a good advantage over here)

2. the screen size in PSP3000 is bigger then PSP GO

3.the PSP3000 is cheaper then the PSP GO

4.the handling of the PSP GO is very hard

5.PSP GO have bluetooth which supports headsets and PS3 system only (do you really need them?)
