@fluoridekid Nah the weather was typical to the area in my view, we was hoping there would be sun later in the day but there wasn't so it wasn't a major deal
@TheStephengthompson aye cheers Steve was well worth exploring areas that I never been to and really admired the Peak District and hopefully if theres a run with better weather over there I might go back there again
@acw71000 cheers Mr Whitehead It was a pleasure encountering you which I had a guess we would. I understand about the weather as I wanted it to be sunny too
Two old workhorses slogging it out on a gloomy November day, no present day paraphernalia cluttering up the scenes, very atmospheric and reminiscent of the old days, apart from the name plate :)
@wobbler44 thanks mate and your right a very atmospheric scene to catch at Doves Hole even without telegraph poles, and oh yes better tell Mr Riley to remove that nameplate off 45407 then it might look more historically accurate
@robmasterman well I only drove as far as Bristol and Dave drove with me as passenger the rest of the journey to the Peak so we got around pretty much...but wait till next week though ;)
Hi Ryan: wow, that was a lot of driving, but top footage as usual. By the way, was that your brother making a last minute appearance on the bridge????? Best wishes, Alan & Margaret
Both recordings have their charm. The cloudy weather, with its diffuse light show all details at the black locomotive. This is the weather I'm thinking at first when I think about my trips to the Peak District.
@collieultimo aye thats probably typical weather conditions to get in the Peak District being higher ground. We had hoped weather would improve but didnt in the end so we just made do with it
Excellent vid Ryan..its a like from me..thanks Steve..
