You try doing that then. The letter won't say "Love, Mom" when you hover over it. It will say "From Mom". To the people who think that you can name the character Love, Mom then the letter will say "From Love, Mom" when you hover over it. I'm pretty sure you can't use punctuation when naming a character anyways...

Yeah, too bad I don't have an Action Replay, like I said, huh? I already said that it wouldn't say "Love Mom", like it does, it would say From Mom or just Mom. It wouldn't say "Love Tom Nook" as a letter subject... Also, I haven't played in a while so I'm not positive, but I don't think you have control of the footer of the letter... like where it says "Talk About Fresh". I think it's just the senders name.

in GC you can make it say " Love, Free" and you can change the signature, im not sure about name though, so it can be "Hate Me, Free"

Just to point out...

No Action Replay/Hacking Device was used. It just landed in my mail a while ago.

You can also get blank letters from the HRA, HRA results from Mom, and a few others.
