i dont think the point is to make motorists love cyclists at all. Its to take back 0.0001% of the money we paid in taxes for transportation so we can bike safely on 0.0001% of the roads in toronto for about an hour or two. Also critical mass is after work on fridays. the few dozens cars inconvenienced for a few minutes a month can wait in exchange for the pollution and Co2 they make us breathe the reast of the year. thats the deal.
@Whitegrassairsoft You don't get to decide who counts as a "real" cyclist and who doesn't. Nobody gets to make that call. They have bicycles, they pedal, that make them (us) cyclists. No "real" nonsense about it.
Imagine this in Mississauga...

God, mass holes.
Do you think your making motorists love you by making them late for work? You guys make real cyclists look bad.
