It is brought back and is now being made.

And there is actually footage of the game being played as a test run.

You've totally misconcept my post there, Ski11et (even though my reply was half a year ago), "Old school"" meaning the design and concept of this 5 second vid is over 22 years old. But it set the basis for character/game design for today's vid games (ei, "Doom","Halo",even "Resident Evil", etc). I had no inkling or mention of this being a vid game, only making a comment of the Colonial Marine firing away at the opposing Aliens. That, hands down, is timeless. No doubt.
