Yup, absolutely correct. Although I've played the game correctly in person, that was simply an oversight in the set up of the demo hand for player 2. Thanks for noticing :)

player 2 has a creeper in his hand... creepers are INSTANTLY played, even against the will of the card owner, and immediately replaced with a new card from the draw pile.
