  • Bobby Clarke was is and always will be a dickhead

  • Comment removed

  • I like what I like

and I do like what I dont

I do not like Canadians hockey assholes

You are one of them and you know it

  • @wg390 I know i'm not an asshole. Just say that it's your opinion and this'll all be over with. Don't ever assume you're right automatically.

  • @TheDaleDenton

    Automaticaly you are Canadian

Which means you are have no respect to any country in the world

This make you be Canadian LOL

Human beings not exist in Canada

    Only Canadians

I will pray for your country and you tommorow in my RUSSIAN CHIRCH

Hope God accept morons like you are

  • @wg390 wow, you are extremely closed minded and pejudice agains canada and the people in it. i have respect for everyone except for people with their head up their ass like you.

  • you idiot every single one of those players were CDN , but because there parents were born in G. BRITAIN this allowed them to play for the U.K

  • Clarke is a shame for all canadians This man total peace of nothing Too bad that Russians did not kill him on the ice, Asshole from Canada is Clarke Canada this is why all just laughting at your hockey Loosers Canada do you remember loosing Olympic game to UK in 1936 ? LOL Your country in 1936 rules hockey ! and you lost to UK ? LOL Pathetic that you brag against Russia Russia beat you a lot and you just complain RUSSIA never complain
  • @wg390 Bobby Clarke's accomplishments and determination to quote Bill Clement (the premier hockey anlayst alive) bordered on the supernatural. Bobby Clarke is one of the top 50 athletes in the past 50 years, and any arugument to the contrary is absurb. Was he a dirty player, Shamelessly YES! Simply stated, Bobby (And Bernie Parent) were the best, literally (2 cups in a row) and figuratively. No legitimate argument could justify otherwise. NO knock on Russia, but Clarke was GREAT!

  • @wg390 you are a jackass. do you remeber when we won the olympics in 2010? March 1st. Does that come to mind? and Bobby Clarke was a grat player. He had skill, he was dirty 9which i proudly say) but his work ethic of wear them down untill you win was outstanding. And Russia never complained? The walked off the fuckin ice if ya didn't just see. Fuck you're stupid.

  • @TheDaleDenton

Canadians can't even play hockey, you should be quiet. When Canadians play hockey it's more like a bunch of lumberjacks trying to chop down trees rather than professional players using their skills to beat their opponents.

    BTW

1st One of Canadian custom is, to make a names to a ppl they do not know or hate

2nd English my 5th language.Seem you could not even spell in English

3rd It just another prove how uneducated your country are (you are perfect example)

  • @wg390 ok, so by making simple spelling mistakes on youtube makes me uneducated. hmmm, quite the veiw you have. and canadians can't even play hockey? you are fucked, arn't you. and stop trying to be such a smart ass, it doesn't do justice for your personality or character.

  • @TheDaleDenton

Canadian morons always have excuses, by simple reson

They always think that SUN turning around Canada LOL

  • @wg390 No, we don't. I don't know where you get this information from but i persoanlly know we don't beleive that. And again, how am I a moron for sticking up for my country.

  • @TheDaleDenton

As I said, go to preschool classes and you wont make spelling mistakes

I just love Canadians excuses. They always pretend to be someone who they are not

  • @wg390 Look, you know I'm right so you're thorwing any excuse and even using some you already have just to try to prove you're right, which you're not.

  • @TheDaleDenton

HAHAHA Canadians if you piss then off Start speak in English!!!!

    Amazing !

  • @wg390 Have I been speaking fucking german or something? Because I'm pretty sure it's been english this whole time. Unless it's just me.

  • @TheDaleDenton

Bobby Clarke was a grat player ! LOL

The walked off the fuckin ice ! LOL

You shoud be proud to be Canadian moron

  • @TheDaleDenton

Go to preschool classes and learn ENGLISH

  • @wg390 I am proud to be Canadian (refering to your comment before this one) and I'm pretty sure i know english sense that's what language i'm using here.

  • @TheDaleDenton

LOL you are getting better LOL

Seems preschool classes make you a little bit better in English

  • @wg390 See, you're now reduced to acting like a fucking 10 year old with you're retarded comebacks to my statements.

  • he fell on knee there was way better hits on the russians tht game

  • Clarke hit a red brick wall!

  • @keepercoach Then his team won.

Reply back, Id' love to hear what you have to say.

  • Clarkie's slash to that ruskie was awesome. Get 'em Clarkie!

  • Clarke is the biggest shit in the world. Greetings from Finland

  • @wanderer870 NO Finish player has ever made the impact that Clarke has. Sorry to break the news but Finish Hockey players are like their country, second rate to North America. Its true, damn true.....

  • Looks good on bobby clarke. he was an asshole is an asshole and will always be an asshole. BUT.........thank god he was on Team Canada in 1972......fuck did he piss off the russians every time he was on the ice......

  • Face it. Bobby Clarke was a goon. But off the ice he's a great guy. And kudos to Vasiliev. Not HUGE hit, but a good job getting Bobby Clarke off the puck.

  • @lovesthestars09 yea that hit wasnt all that big, but it did get clark to pass it

  • Bobby Clarke was your fucking GOD and hate him all you want, he was a 40+ goalscorer a fucking LEGEND. And a great player as well. Mad as hell we were tougher. Flyers Forever.

  • That fucker deserved it.

  • Good play by Vasiliev.

  • It was a good hit; he took Bobby Clarke off the puck. But nothing devastating in that hit.

  • @spitfire71068 For the time, it was an unusually good hit. The Russians didn't know how to give a hit....or take one, for that fact.

  • @wilmanric1 they could do everything else though

  • @wilmanric1 That doesnt make sense. Nowadays you have guys like Datsyuk and Ovechkin who dish as good as anyone and impossibly strong on their skates. They arent even 6 feet tall. I dont see any other hockey players that can do that. Except Konstantinov of course, one of the best bodycheckers of all time. Russians have been great hitters for as long as I can remember, and it sounds like youre suggesting that they learned how to do it overnight.

  • @EdMcStinko Sorry but I don't see your point. This clip is from 1976! That's 24 years ago...an entire generation. With respect, that's hardly "overnight"!

  • @EdMcStinko

Ovechkin is 6' 2'', 235lb. The fuck are you smoking?

  • a good hit? jesus christ, look how fast bobby got back up. didn't take longer then 2 seconds. these people are blind. Flyers fan for ever

  • @TheDaleDenton, a good hit doesnt meen destroying your opponent. That was a good hit because he stopped him in his tracks. Plain and simple.

  • I think I take harder hits in Firday night shinny with the boys.

  • Good defensive play but not a "big hit"

  • @somewhere6 Yes, a solid hit, standing his ground and taking the player off the puck. Not a crushing blow. Just good play.

  • Big Hit ?

  • Video musta cut off early cause i def didnt see a 'big' hit.

  • Wow. A clean hit on the puck-carrier. Clarke had never seen one of those before.

  • a phrase that I always remember from Bob Cole...."they.re going home!!"

  • that wasnt even a big hit... lol

  • Bobby Clarke is the real canadian hockey style .. only tons of scum sh*t

  • @ww2footage I've seen you type that retarded sentence on numerous videos. come up with something new.

  • call that a hit lmao !!!

  • if ur trying to post goos hits of the soviet army, then u failed

  • Flyers didn't play hockey - they just fight on the ice...and Russians should continue that game - they just should leave ice in the middle of game...

anyway CSKA was much more stronger then each team in NHL. only Montreal Canadians were able to defeat Russians...

and Flyers are sucks. it is not Boxing - it is Hockey...

  • @shaoduoduo The Flyers won 2 Stanley Cups in a row,.

  • @killerskillet I know - only 2))))) CSKA won 32 ("Russian Stenley Cup")

  • nobody cares. The NHL has the best players in the world, everyone wants to come to the NHL because they get paid insane salaries. Money brings talent.

  • @killerskillet

so in russia also noone careas about 2 cups of Flyers..

you are right - nhl have the best players, because they can offer them big money! but money never brings talent!!! talent is that kind of thing - or you have it or you will never have! Kharlamov never played in NHL, but he is the best...and in '72 NHL offered him a contract for a millon dollars...who in '72 had this kond of offer??? nobody! only Hull in '74 had...

  • @shaoduoduo The Russian league is offering big money to players, the NHL has a cap, the KHL doesn't.

  • @103Uke and??? you want to bet what league is better??? needn't!!! it is not a kindergarden!

  • @shaoduoduo calm down, I'm just stating the facts, the NHL doesn't need to give out big cash to sign a great player. They got the history, they got better players, better health team staff and a tougher playoff tourney. That's what players abroad want.

  • @103Uke I'm so happy for NHL...

  • @shaoduoduo So am I...

  • @shaoduoduo wasn't that when Tikhonov basically took the best players from the other teams so they can play for the national team? Easy competition.

  • @103Uke in this team only 3 players were not from CSKA - Vasiliev, Maltsev and Solodukhin... and in these summit head coach is not Tikhonov...

  • @shaoduoduo I was talking about the Tikhonov era, where a majority of the Soviet titles were won by CSKA. But those 3 players were from the Tarasov era and that was well balanced when selecting the top Soviet players, even the summit coach played for CSKA under Tarsov.

  • @shaoduoduo they also left a game 7 mins in because they couldn't take getting hit.

  • @shaoduoduo That was a 3-3 tie, but the team you're taling about was the Sabers.

  • Everytime I watch the Flyers from this era I'm amazed at there puck pursuit. They just flat outworked the other teams.

  • But Bertuzzi for Luongo was the work of Dave Nonis

  • anton volchenkov dad played in this series and his son wow what a great defencman of the sens although im not a sens fan but hes good

  • That was not much of a hit. I don't know what those announcers were smoking.

  • Comment removed

  • Whats the crackling noise in the background, are you eating corn chips?

  • not really a big hit but it was good... valeri is a chicks name btw

  • Hmm, Vasiliev turned his back and through out his leg. Now that is a bit of a pussy hit if I've ever seen one.

  • Didn't the Vancouver Millionaires win one of the early versions of Lord Stanley that I believe was called the Amateur Dominion Trophy of Canada?

  • The Canucks (Orca Bay) were a fucking mess when they brought Messier in. The Canucks and Linden are losers. 1970 - no Stanley Cups - what a shitty organization. Keenan and Messier are winners.

  • Vailiev is my grandpa :)

  • Bobby Clarke was the greatest captain ever until Mark Messier came around.

  • Vasiliev's hit was a totally clean hit on a very dirty player who was gutless and let his linemates save his ass when he got in trouble

  • Dirty player who was gutless... Do you even know who Bobby Clarke is?? Get your facts straight pal, the entire Flyers team during that time were bullies, they beat up on everyone. It's called hockey, not basketball. Blood is part of the game. It needs to go back to the way it was... that... was hockey!

  • Every time they were losing or getting their ass kicked they'd pour over the boards...now I have played ice hockey my entire life and actually remember watching the 'they're going home" debacle but if they were so great, why couldn't they win more than 2 in a row? The Bruins should have won at least 3-4 in the early 70's( they drank too much ) and the Flyers really should have won a third but the Habs showed us how tough hockey is supposed to be played.

  • They were 51-13-16 that year. If I remember Bernie Parent was hurt. And oh yeah, it was Montreal, in the 70's and the intimidated refs. The Flyers have the second highest winning percentage in NHL history with no help from officials.

  • Why putting officials in games prediction. Flyers played well and Montreal too. It was equality between these 2 teams for there talent and very good players, But dont say officials were not fair please

    sorry for english translate

    Go Flyers !!

  • yes we know damn well who bobby clarke was. a thug. a fucking goon well hated by lots of fans both in canada and us except of course for flyers fans. if he wasn't a hockey player he would have rot in jail. instead he was inducted into the hall of fame. pathetic. one has to be a real animal to admire shit like clarke.

  • Valeri Vasiliev was a great all-around defenseman.

  • I have a large collection of authentic hockey jerseys and one of my non-NHL faves is Valery Kharmolov..one of the greates wingers in hockey history! Bobby Clarke was, still and always will be a gutless fucking puke....

  • I think Bobby Clarke took the hit pretty well and got up right away.

  • @seamusinjapan

The reason for that was because Vasil'yev's hit was clean, and Vasil'yev has to have been at least a dozen pounds lighter than Clarke. I sure wish Clarke would've gotten a taste of his Bullies' medicine. Too bad I don't remember Shurik Ragulin unleashing on that thug.

  • @LoneMaquis They played hockey, they even made hockey as aggressive as it today, if your gonna cry about thugs put on a fucking skirt and go watch womens hockey.

  • @LoneMaquis Bob Clarke wasn't a big guy... he was surrounded by huge goons. Get it right. And it wasn't even that big of a check. I've seen bigger hits in PeeWees growing up!

  • @jdloux Yeah I mean WTF this is a big hit? Clarke almost kept skating :-/ That's a LAUGH man.. Those Russian's were mean though no question and I'd be pretty tough too if I had Esposito standing next to me.

  • Being doesn't mean you weren't a cheap shot artist. Clarke admits he was a chippy player, but then makes excuses like "Everyone was doing it then" to lessen his image as an ass. Many of his teammates didn't like him, but they knew they were done in the NHL unless they went to his defence. Too many guys like that in the league back then have given us the Jarkko Ruutus and Sean Averys of today. Bobby Clarke just reinforced what a classless 'person' he is by his Roger Neilson cancer comments

  • That's only because of the way the NHL has sanitized the game first with the 'instigator rule' and now are headed towards to banning the 'tough guy dance after a non-important face-off". Clarke was a pussy...Ruutu a euro-trash punk. Avery is just fucking stupid and I'm a Rangers fan...

  • My hero! Go Vasiliev!

  • surprised that none of the other flyer bitches didn't come to Clarkes' rescue

  • Perhaps they regarded him with the same contempt as the rest of the world.

  • They all hated him - they knew theey had to pick up for all of his back-stabbing hseap shots while he took all of the credit and the big paycheck - watch his tribute video, unless the player was onthe F'ers payroll at the time, not a single good comment about him, thinly veiled disgust for him

  • Do you even know what your talking about? Clarke was one of the most beloved Flyers of all time, not only by fans, but also, most importantly, by his teammates.

  • hey kibbles,a lot of his teammates didn't like him

  • Well said...Dupont and the boys knew he was their meal ticket so they did their jobs and kept their mouths shut until years later. Clarke has no class, but was a very talented player who was one of the main reasons (Bernie Parent and their bully strategy) the Flyers won 2 Stanley Cups...gotta give him that much even though I have no respect for him as a person

  • also take note Bobby Clarke deliberately broke a Soviet players ankle in 1972

  • Why was he chosen as Captain for the 1976 Canada Cup Team?

  • nice hit
