Good job!! Nice cinematograohy, and you guys clearly know what you're doing. The only thing that cheapens it slightly is your equipment. Obviously you have to work with what you've got, but the fact it you are both using identical staffs bound in the same way, and the same colour. At least paint one or use a metal staff or something. Be original and let your kit tell the story for you. I have a friend who likes to do contact staff with a golf unbrella!
I understand your point about the equipment. This is just a clip from a longer piece though, wherein the bad guy here is waiting with both of the staves and gives one to the other for their fight.
