Danny Joe was flirting with disaster too long. I sure hope he quit walkin with the devil and repented of his sins before he died or he is facing the danger of an eternity in hell. I didn't see anything in his obituary that he ever repented and put his faith in Jesus. What a wasted life. He lived his life in rebellion to God and now it's time to pay. Get off the broad road that leads to destruction southernrocker4life and get on the narrow road JESUS CHRIST that leads to life.
MrHurricaneIke !! You can kiss my Rebel Ass !!! Danny Joe was a close and very dear friend !! You Sir are a SICK ASSHOLE for making a comment like that!! You don't even have a clue about what you state about your Bible crap !!!! Lamar Alley, Thomasville Georgia....come look me up !!! I ain't hard to find at all !!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for leaving us with some of you best memories and talent. You truly are a 1/1 original, R.I.P brother and fly on proud you will never be forgotten for generations to come.
@razorbacker63 That's Right! Molly Hatchet was so instrumental in what a "Real Southern Honky-Tonk" band should be! I'll Love and Cherish all the goodtimes, and memories I had watching them play, My friends and I would see who could stand in front of the Amps the longest at thier concerts, maybe that's why I'm about deaf today, Love Ya DJB! Miss Your Voice and Music
1991 I got the pleasure meeting Danny Joe Brown in Fort Rucker Alabama while stationed there and then I saw them in Dallas about a year later. I love me some Molly Hatchet, I got him to sign some of my old LPs.
Danny Joe Brown was indeed the centerpiece of Molly Hatchet. I like Phil McCormack, but he will never be the same vocalist Danny Joe was. I miss him and hope he's rockin' out in heaven. God Rest Your Soul, Danny.
Danny was the mouth of the South......I miss him so much......he truly is a legend......I loved his way of singing.....no one can replace him........have fun rockin in Heaven.

I like Phil McCormack, but I still miss Danny Joe very much. He was the man behind Molly Hatchet. God rest your soul.
