@ajdjikreui The main difference is power. Aurora 200mW can burn stuff, light fires and so forth while the 75mW has very little burning power. The higher power of the Aurora also gives it much better beam visibility.
@TheXShadow2000 The Aurora laser is an older model that was phased out a long time ago. One alternative to the Viper if you want a power laser is the 1 watt Spartan laser.
@bowiePPballistic No I'm afraid not. High power green lasers like the Aurora have pretty much been replaced by much higher power blue lasers like the 1 watt Spartan.
ok like when your in a club u see like these laser lights moving all over the place like in the Jlo "Waiting for tonight" music video. Are those laser lights? and is there like a machine that moves them? I really want it but i dont know what it is!!!
What is the real difference between the viper series and the arura series.......i cannot decide which series to buy a laser from .............. do you mind helping my out! which series should i buy from viper or arura
I was just wondering, what takes up all that space in the Aurora laser? I notice it uses a small battery for the size of the laser. Where as the viper, being smaller (at least in diameter) uses two AAA.
seams like for the cost, green is the way to go. any reason to choose green over blue? I keep finding myself looking at the 5mW blue. but I just cant justify spending that kinda money in this economy. I do photography when I can find work, and looking at it from a tool prospective. I dont care to be burning things.
I guess main questions are, what advantage of diff. colour beam? what power rating for a strong beam to be seen in daylight(hard to find just a dot sometimes lol)
Just got my Aurora 150 mW ($399) and it's just fantastic. It lights a match from about 1 meter in about 5 seconds. The beam is clearly visible even in sunshine.
It was delivered to me in Denmark less than 48 hrs after it left China - i'm amazed!
In the video Aurora is the one to the left, and Viper is the one to the right.
When You use these powerful lasers, don't forget this:
Never point the beam at anybodys eyes.
Don't even look into reflections from close objects.
umm.... im kida looking for somthing where you can see the whole laser not just the dot and that it can light matches pop ballons and light things i dont realy care if it can burn you cos ill buy protective clothing you got somthing like that?
Hey man, I already bought from Nova Lasers and I had awful customer service from them, and their product was awful and I was wondering if you think I should try again and go with Dragon Lasers?
i have about £220 and i want a good burning laser and to be able to see the beam quite clear ( and i understand if u cant see it well during day ) i was looking at the 125mw viper and then went off it cause the price and then looked at the 95mw but i keep thinking about the 125mw viper being like one of the best for burning so agen im hesitating..so what do u think i should go for with about £220
yo i have around £250(GBP) to spend what laser do u think i should buy? please reply because i just got one and my mum was so amazed by it she sed shell get me a powerfuller 1 so she sed i have £250 to get a new 1 i want 1 with good burning compatiblitys
Now why is it that on your website the viper laser increases from 15 mw to 95 mw with a 100 dollar difference? That is 80 mw difference for an extra 100 dollars. But when the 95 mw model increases to 125 mw the price also increases by 100 dollars. Now that is a 30 mw difference. How come a difference of 30 mw cost the same as an 80 mw difference?
Can you please PM me? I would like to have a laser for night astronomy with my youth group, but also would be fun to burn a few things for the kids. Is a more powerful laser just as good for night skies, or does pulsing effect distance?
i want one of these green lasers...but not sure which 1 2 get? considering aurora is way more expensive than the viper, and only looks a little bit mre powerful i think i like the viper more? I NEED SOME ADVICE ANYWAY?
yesterday my house was in fog with 1/4 mile visibility and my old ebay laser was amazing but i wish my 75mw viper will get here, its been 2 weeks since it left china. Why dont you guys make a factory in us??
If you go to 1:29 of the video, it looks like both beams are straight.
Sometimes with lasers, even top quality ones, the beam will come out at a slight angle. This is not a flaw with the laser, its just an individual characteristic because no two lasers are exactly the same.

You must by a laser less powerful. I bought a 150mW. But a 125mW is very, very cheaper: the 150 cost 400. The 125 cost only 300..
But when you have had a 125 or 95, you will soon want a 150. So why not go for it now, and save money.
