James Frey is about as good an "authentic" author as you are a "authentic" actor. I'm not surprised you've aligned yourself with the cancer of the literary world that is James Frey.
Maybe if I'm lucky I can some day tell a completely made up bullshit story and have Oprah promote me on her show. Then I'll make tons of money and become friends with a no talent ass clown from Philly who can't act his way out of a wet paper bag.
@kevinbrueck even if the story behind the novel is fiction, think how good it must be for millions of people to consider it true. Frey is not a traditional author for sure but he is certainly gifted
this nobody is a vacuum of humanity, and the authors are completely taking the piss out of him, and so they should.
