  • You show confidence and expertise. Very good speech. I love you being real and not telling people what they want to hear. Reminds me of Donald Trump..."You're Fired."

  • At 1:10 you' re going to "fix your worst sales person" - then you're going to "fire her"?

    That's not callous - that's sexist :(

  • He's right about sales reps-innarguable.

  • Great information in your video presentation. I liked that you pointed out differentiation for sales people and companies. Everyone is selling something so why should I buy it from you is a key concept to understand with sales. To fix the breaks in the video just add "transitions" to your video and maybe switch up the music for each section so things dont get stale especially on a video over 3 minutes. Great Go!

  • Good points, but the constant breaks are really annoying.

  • Very informative, thank you for sharing.

  • Bottom line results are always impressive to a FiscalDoctor. Interesting to see sales and marketing people who understand the need for ROI from sales expenditures and activities.

  • Awesome food for thought in this video!

  • Great knowledge, coming straigt to the point in his on stage speech!

  • It's all about market share...great comments about salespeople & shopping your company! Well done.

  • very well done coolgirl2930

  • Hello elo Greetz from Polish

  • Great video!

  • pretty cool stuff

  • Dear David,

Absolutely Great. Loved it, India is a US$1.4 Trillion economy where as U.S.A. is a US$16 Trillion economy.

But Asia is a happening place, be it China or India.

    Wish you all the best.

    With Warm Regards & Thanks,

    Deb

  • i can see that ikea customer service isnt good - but they continue to make a profit

  • This presentation is awesome.. this is what i need for my company to grow,, thank you for sharing.

  • Excelent presentation David, it boils down to accountability, activities and letting the saleperson know we care about their success. Thanks for sharing.

  • Very good video Good motivator

@shueevon Why are you making so much noise on another persons channel if you dont like it give it a thumbs down and move on. What you trying to get others to your channel from contraversy. I don't care how good a product is if noone sells it then it will sit on the shelf or in a warehouse. You can't buy anything if you never heard of it. But I will look at your channel and leave a comment because I believe this is your intent I hope it helps.

  • Dynamic presentation David...thank you for sharing

  • Great video keep up the good work, you are very knowledgeable and you deliver your content well, I look forward to hearing more from you, these people don't realize that every interaction they have is a form of sales sales people are all people! The sooner people realize how genuine and nice most sales people are the better ;)

  • Great content

  • Great video! Tamara x

  • @shueevon: viewed your profile, thanks for your service! I get your frustration; I too felt the same when I first got into sales. I learned over time that a product, no matter how good it is, doesn't sell w/o personal involvement, a relationship that is developed between two ppl. The reason is because ppl don't like change and you need to explain why change is good. Thinking about how their biz works and why your product is important and not how biz owners buy, will give you better results.

  • @kylecgray Thanks for taking the time to look at my page... and for your insightful, helpful comment. Your approach is a bit closer to what I would consider ideal - as a sales *engineer* and not merely a sales *person*, you have taken it upon yourself to learn your line / product(s) and can explain their benefit in detail. My sales experience was in insurance (yeah, I know...). Their approach is to learn the script rather than the products - left me with a very bad taste for sales. Cheers!

  • @kylecgray One more point, if I may... IMHO, as we are now seeing with our new POTUS, change is NOT always good... change for the better is good. There is a difference.

  • @shueevon You're absolutely right! So if you don't see a benefit to ur product or service, then u need to find something else to represent. One thing I learned, not everyone have the same views. So what I see as value, others may not. Knowing about your product is only half the process, while understanding your product helps the negotiation process. Product "A" may be exactly what the customer needs but if I cannot give reasons that the customer can agree too then I am fighting a loss cause.

  • @TheSteelMethod: Great video's; I'd like to attend your seminar. You are absolutely correct to your answers to shueevon, unfortunatley it sounds as though he has taken on a product that he doesn't believe in. I use to own fastener company I had no problems selling my products, but when I hired someone who wanted a "job" as a salesman not as an expert w/ passion I was throwing money away. I have learned that w/o belief a salesperson will fail! I wish shueevon good luck with finding your passion.

  • Good content - does bring up several points to consider in the future.

  • Yes indeed Sales can be cut-throat business as a good professional sales person places Him/Her-self at tthe mid-point between His/Her Company and the Clients interests.

Best advice that I was ever given was "We have Two Ears and only One Mouth - Use them accordingly in Sales :-) Very good advice from a very wise and professional Salesman R.I.P.

  • @TheSteelMethod Again you prove my point. "Sales people are hired to sell" you say. That is exactly the problem, and your "method" merely perpetuates this bad idea. Instead, a company should advertise and market their product - if it's worth a damn, sales people would be irrelevant -- if it's not worth a damn, it shouldn't be on the market in the first place.

  • I have to play a split role to match my split life and personality. As a purchasing agent for myself, with money to spend, I do NOT just listen to sales men, I ask questions take notes, negotiate price then dismiss them. I'm the boss, get it straight.

Then in the unusual instance where I'm the peddler, because I just love the product, like my roofing services, I get excited and sort of take charge making my good points why I can customize my product just for the customer. Too cut and dry huh?

  • If I ever have a company I will use these methods.

  • cool

  • Good video!!

  • Clear, concise and compelling...

  • Great stuff David. 5 stars!

  • Is GREAT!@Monica

  • Good Stuff David

  • Read The Science of Getting Rich, by Wallace D. Wattles and Think And Grow Rich, by Napoleon Hill.

  • David's straight forward message is what the world needs....no sugar coating what NEEDS to be done....just do it!!

  • Nicely done, David.... (At least one of my clients could use this so, I'll share...)

  • I love a good sale video, true advice you have to fire the dead weight or they will drag the ship down.

  • Outstanding information, great presentation and yhe video moved me along so well it held my interest from beginning to end. Awesome!!!

  • Good information thanks for sharing.

  • thats all we need

  • Mw2 is good :D i like it.

  • kool

  • cool stuff man!

  • Good Stuff David Thanks For Sharing!!!

  • now this is a video for all to see because its like youtube if you dont produce a good gimmick then you wont last long as a true legend to me

  • David yes these are strong words but why should a company sustain anyone's livelihood at their expense if this person is not performing? There are a lot of variables training, time on the job etc., etc. but most of the time the problem stems from a poor attitude. This rubs off if an genuine effort has been made to help this person well let them take that contagious mentality elsewhere.

  • what it instant marketing

  • Great Video David!

  • LOL, thanks

  • Great video! Keep it up! THUMBS UP

  • I Agree with you. If they arent performing fire em. I nearly called a company up last week to ask them why they sent a sales guy who knew almost nothing about the product to my company, with the excuse that he was new and also not a technical person. This video is great . thanks for the info.

  • Very good real-life points! The best decisions are often hard to make, but they still need to be made.

  • Great video!

  • After watching this video, I feel as though I've entered an inferno, where courage is the blaze!!!!!!!

It's guys like him who brings feeling to the numb.

Honestly....I feel like kicking a 70 yard field goal.

  • Common sense in this video. Great job.

  • Importante Video....

  • That is a great presentation.

David makes some excellent points that can lead you to maximize the potential of your business.

  • Good video... nice points.

  • Thank s for very interesting videos !

  • Good video David for Corporate America and the small business owners around the world but in reality for the average sales person to make more money they have to work harder, smarter and will always make the company more money. The truly perfect business model is a business where everyone has the same amount to gain. Watch "Brilliant Compensation"

  • David, if salespeople aren't networking, they are going to lose to whatever competitor IS networking the right way. That's not passing out biz cards, but real face to face referrals. Also, don't be afraid to fire vendors that don't give goodcustomer service (!cough!Paypal!cough!)

  • Hi David,

    Excellent video.

    Well put together.

    All the best

    Mike

  • You have a great presentational speaking voice. I like your message too.

  • Cool

  • Help! Do not sell ! Understand the conversation that is playing itself through the mind of your prospect. Great video David!

  • This movie is awesome. I actually learned more than what i never actually learn in school... Lol Wicked man.

  • Good stuff...NOT A COMFORT VIDEO BY ANY MEANS....This is where the Rubber meats the ROAD as some humans say..lol

  • Great sales pitch with good accomplishments; Could be used for Affiliates Online Marketing as well!

  • I benefited from watching this!

  • hardcore. loved it. quit pussyfootin around and get your result.

  • Good teaser . . . and that's not a negative. Your message, while not fully developed (need something to take the 'next step', right?) is spot on. Not too long to lose interest. Good edits. Overall, "Good show"

  • 5**

  • very good information..keep it up..

  • Nice on there DAVE! Keep em comin'!

  • excellent!

  • Great point on shopping your company David. Too many owners and managers will automatically lean towards the schmoozer. Shopping your own company to determine if your employees are in-line with your belief of service and attitude is key.

  • interesting o.o

  • why dont you create a social media site were the users combine thier wealth and you have a staff that buyes homes and businesses with there money and return it to them based on profits of the business or the sale of the home?

  • Great thanks for this very good !!

  • This video was awesome...very motivational!

  • Keep up the great work! Mr Steel

  • Great video brother =-)

  • Nice video David,

    Great points on great issues.

  • Great video, David! I look forward to connecting and watching your videos in the future.

  • You have a great product. The video was well produced. Could be better with how the person zoomed in on you. Your content was very good. I would suggest that you take a look at your gestures as you tend to look like you are holding a bowl most of the time. Drop your hands when not making a gesture. One other tip I would have for you is to not walk in front of your Power Point, it is distracting. But over all great content and having the attendees giving feedback was great!. TFS.

  • You deserve full marks for this video. Keep it up!

  • Excellent Presentation

  • Amazing!

  • Nice Video. I just gave it thumbs up

  • Awesome Video and right on point! thanks for sharing!

  • Give a man that fish and away he goes.

  • Asks the questions that people may or may not ask themselves because they don't have time or other reasons. That's what I thought when I wondered if I should leave a comment.

  • Excellent coercive techniques.

  • Great Video David. I am glad you added me. Keep bringing the value!

  • I love the "Fix or Fire" slogan David. Some useful insights here in this video. Keep spreading the good advice!

  • AWESOME

  • David, Love the presentation and your style. One thing I would say that I dont agree with is that companies can compete on the web with Marketing companies, they just need the right marketers in place that are on their payroll to do the work. Overall, excellent video, love the content and it over delivers on the truth of what companies need to do with their sales force. It's not business as usual. Step up or step out.

  • Interesting.

  • Good info and great channel! I will be watching!

  • Awesome video. You give people something to think about for their own business.

  • Great video...fantastic insight.

  • Nice Info

  • Great info

  • You hit on the key to success. If we don't have a clear picture of what benefit our company has to offer we can succeed.

  • I like this video!

    Informative and well made!

    Thank you,

    Steve

  • David makes some great points to contemplate and then put into action.

  • Great vid my friend! Honored by your subscription, I'm connecting with you also! Make it an extraordinary week!

  • Great video - This will help me alot with my businesss

  • this is great.

  • I agree with this kind of straight forward approach. You have to define expectations for your sales force so they know exactly how to sale your product or services.

  • I lie it, you help me to improve my strategic sales

  • cool video

  • Thank you, David!

  • I like the idea of shopping your team.

  • like it added to my favorites

  • great info david thanks

    greetings and peace from denny

  • good stuff. good energy

  • Great video David! Fear used to keep me from making those hard decisions when it came to doing what was necessary to push my company to a higher level... but not anymore. I am definitely going to look into your methods to see how I can better myself and my company!

  • Nice video. Great job breaking it down into bite sized pieces that people can digest one at a time.

  • Hi David!

Thanks for your hand in YouTube friendship. I liked your video very much. Even though I'm not in sales, the things you talked about would apply to any business. Very good video!

    Spencer

  • Inflammatory speech you speak with so much passion that is impressing me!!!You are great i agree with all your sayings!!!

    5***** stars!!!

  • Awesome vid. thanks.

  • Fire the slackers on Monday? That sounds like Trump mentality to me. I believe optimism is contagious. Some people need more time than the next Monday. But if its profit your after and not building your team and your charatcer, keep firing.

  • you're right in some respect. more importantly than the sales channel is the actual content that you're selling. if web doesnt hold strong ideas or products it just won't sell.

  • thank you for sharing this man, it was really good content.

  • words of wisdom people,

    listen, learn,pratice and grow....

  • David, thank you for sharing

  • great video. tremendous insight. thank you

  • This video is awesome, full of energy and knowledge, Thanks David!

  • Great video. I look forward to your next one.

    Wishing you success, Jeff Faldalen

  • HI David thanks for the request to rate this video. I didn't get the impression that I would get good solid information for one of your seminars. I heard little bits that encourage me to believe that it would be interesting. I like like the fix them or fire them bit if what you are trying to do is show the sales managers that they need to get of their asses and make it happen or fire them. The buck stop here

  • interesting video...I hope I don't get fired today! lol.

  • Awsome video and sequentially understanding throughout.

    Concise and easy to understand.

Certain to sharpen the minds of the most elite entrepreneurs.
