i am impressed, the fps drop is not the software's fault, its the hardware, u just gotta have a good gpu and there will be no frame rate drops. dumbshits lol
@bigmonkeyman44 Those were some highly computationally expensive physics even for the GPU back then and the technology was relatively new. Try learning some game PhysX programming yourself and maybe you won't complain but instead appreciate the difficulty of physics in general.
@bigmonkeyman44 Dude, NVIDIA bought Ageia a long time ago, so technically, they don't exist anymore, lol. I haven't tried Havok, but I didn't like it when Halo 2 used it. You're probably right, but I have yet to compare both myself.
nice but is the mvidia 8600gt compatible with physx
Vladut199 1 year ago
@Vladut199 yes, but it would work better as a dedicated physx card coupled with a higher end GTX 260 or above

ok guys, a really stupid question, but i need to be sure:
do i need to download physx(after having a geforce 8k+, of course -.-'), or does it come with the drivers themselves?
thanks

Если это не CPU-only, то это - УГ.

physics of that caliber take lots of processing power to do. gamers are like women... never satisfied...

You can't be serious. Resolving the collision significantly drops the framerate, once the projectiles are in freefall that's trivial. Not impressed.
blofeld9999 2 years ago
This is just showing what will be possible. Of course they need to increase efficiency for it to be usable in an actual game.

one tip of you going to be "show casing" Tech then put it on a good system. this makes it look like trash
