I grew up in an all white neighborhood; dated nothing but white and jewish girls; married a european/latin mix woman and have two sons from her. @BValchan I understand. I'm male so that may make a difference. Black people, myself included (because I'm African DNA dominant), suffer from Post Traumatic Slave Disorder found in the DNA of African Americans-this includes the so-called Willie Lynch syndrom. I look at this dis-ease like any other dis-ease. Now, I wouldn't get mad at someone for having cancer and showing the syptoms of it. I am able to let them know that I'm not the enemy. This takes creative dialogue over the years.

@Herucleus But anyway, thanks for the elaboration & civil discussion. However, I think one could fight "white supremacy" and still claim mixed race or biracial. If it's wrong for people to use the word "biracial" because white people made it up, then it's wrong to speak English, or call ourselves "black" or "negro" because white people gave us those labels too. But that's just my logic.

@BValchan Was is the point of having to claim 'mixed-race'? For whose benefit? The reason is that the white gene/DNA is so recessive compared to African DNA that the only reason to claim it is because we are in a white society and/or that one of our parents is white and we feel that by not claiming the 'white-side' some how we don't love them or do not acknowlege them in our physical make up. @BValchan Yes, it is wrong to speak english because it is a bastard language; Black/Negro/African/etc. are english words. But the meaning is most important. With out white supremacy, the names of things and people would be totally different. However, bi-racial deals with racism and indicates a divsion whitin the two races. Can't call yourself white (African or non-white DNA), o.k., however you would be able to call yourself Black.

@BValchan You can not and for that matter anyone else cannot fight white supremacy when 'bi-racials' are considered a separated race from those that are the target of the system. The labeling of African people who happen to have one white parent bi-racial is division and separation from the other non-white parents' group. Especially when the African DNA is dominant.

Treated differently when you tell whites that you are biracial than when you tell them that you are Black African, right? It happens to me all the time. You might have to accept the fact that you are a victim of White Supremacy. I am curious to what your mental condition will be by time you're 45-50 years of age. You are the living proof of the division between the lighter skin Black and the darker skin Black. It is evident in the name BiRacialTiffany. I am Black African that can very easily pass for caucasian. When people hear the timbre of my voice, they then become curious and ask what nationality I am. Immediately I tell them that I am Black African. I could easily tell them I am Bi-Racial but what is the point unless I am supposed to get props or something however many whites don't see a difference.

@Herucleus But when you present yourself to a Black African in the U.S. as 'BiRacial', immediately to us you have separated yourself from Black People. And whites do not claim you as white. That leaves the 'BiRacial' out on their own. Which if you all really knew the power of the African DNA inside YOU, I really don't think you would have much of a desire to be on youtube.

@Herucleus This girl has a black mother and a white father, so if she tells people she's biracial she's only telling the truth. If YOU tell people you're biracial it's *not* true. That's the difference. She loves BOTH of her parents (white father included) and won't deny them. Btw it's not like people like her go around town randonly saying "I'm mixed" to people they just meet. They get asked (by both whites AND blacks) "What's your ethnicity?" or "What are you? or "Are you latina?"

@BValchan I love both of my parents, but they understand. Just because I am 'one' with the dominate side of me does not mean that I do not love white people. I am more complete as opposed when I was attempting to straddle the fence so to speak. Once I 'woke-up' I realize that I did not love my wife for who she was, It was because of what she wasn't, Black African. That was not fair to her or myself. I was also very ill during that time and over weight, depressed, etc.

@Herucleus *continued* they would still call me a "half-breed" or a "white bitch" and there's plenty of non-American blacks who would take offense to me calling myself black because I'm not "one of them" and they don't embrace the "one drop rule". All I was trying to say was black people (imo) aren't exempt for thier bigotry towards mixed people just because of history. However, I see that you are twice my age (going by your profile) so we won't see eye-to-eye on racial relations.

@BValchan Yeah, we probably will not see ete on a lot of racial issues; I've studied longer and see with different eyes. I grew up in an all white neighborhood; dated nothing but white and jewish girls; married a european/latin mix woman and have two sons from her. So, I have experience on my side; I know a little of what I'm talking about. If you have seen the movie 'The Matirx, white supremacy is very similar; can't see it (only the symptom-racism), touch, smell or taste it, so to speak.

@Herucleus *continued* I have heard those questions all of my life from both black & white people and when I said "black" thier response would be "What are you mixed with?" or "Is your mother white?" or "You're not a real sista" or they would laugh in my life (yes that actually happened to me once in 7th grade) and my phenotype is similar to Tiffany's but I'm a tad bit lighter. What ethnicity people think another person is is sometimes subjective but what matters is how they feel inside.

@BValchan The reason white people asked, 'what are you' or 'what race/nationality', is to categorize you into a group so that they will know how to deal with you, what to say around you, etc. When I was asked since I was little, I always stated that I was Black African. My father taught me this so that I will be able to deal with the most negative that people would ever offer me because of my race. Emotional control is very important. Intellect is key...

@BValchan When I was dealing with 'my' people, called high yella, piss-colored, 'butta' half&half, Albino Gorilla, etc. I always used my intellect. I new why other Blacks, especially my brothers & sisters who are a lot darker than I, reacted the way they did, and I countered it. I had some knowledge of African History and the Diasporah by time I was 12 years old. If White Supremacy did not exist, we wouldn't even be having this conversation & Tiffany would not be calling herself bi-racial Peace

Many so-called bi-racial women in UK marry black men. They tend to have black fathers. Issues with having a 'white' father are obvious from a historic perspective. Here it is 2010 and the proof of that whole concept is still very much a reality amongst black, more than any other race in the world.
