@Kanecarroll: This is not Telstar. Look it up here on youtube and you will find that Telstar ( by The Tornados) is a different tune. While you're at it look up "Apache" and you'll find the original by The Shadows.

Actually, the song was written by Jerry Lordan. The first hit in England was performed by the Shadows. The first hit of it in America was by
Jørgen Ingmann and hit guitar. The Ventures version is a very popular version though.
