Brother, your bean pies look great and the ingredients are almost identical to the traditional ones. I've made bean pies for years and family members in various parts of the USA always request that I make the pies and ship them. yo, i have never had bean pie but id love to try it. the recipe you used is similar to pumpkin pie since you added the ginger. but much props anyway man, show the ladies how a man knows how to handle the kitchen. peace

Great pie but you deviated from the recipe. Under Elijah Muhammad's NOI, you would have been labeled a hyppocrite and put to death. I can't see Farrakhan being any different. Thank you for a delicious pie recipe and have a nice day.
i have been trying to make a bean pie for a year now and have failed each time. it comes out lumpy....but i see you used a blender and i did not. and also when i bought them from the temple's they work brown on top and custard inside(like an orange color). And i see yours is the closest that i have found so thank you soooooo much for this video!!! just one question: how much vanilla did you add????
