Also there are cinekills as well a sort of cheat to get them to work is set the game speed to overdrive then do a combo to stun the opponent with 20% health then sit back and wait for the the eternal champion guy to come out and say "to your death". I played this game for hours on end when it came out, the hidden characters are pretty tricky to unlock but not impossible. Also dont forget about vendettas performed at 20% health while opponent is stunned.

the reason a lot of people don't know about this game is because the fighting is shit... it tried to copy street fighter, a series with depth, and it tried to copy MK a series that impacted with blood, it did bad.. To do these you had to do a move that did 30% or more damage on an exact pixel of that map, it was a pain in the ass, and never rewarding because 9 times out of 10 you ended up getting your ass kicked because you were trying to be flashy, this game sucks ass. I like the vid tho

@ojideagu do you let magazines influence everything upon you? Compare this to Street Fighter II and Mortal Kombat 3 and this game is gum you accidentally stepped in. This game is garbage, it's not known for shit, and the only reason the media didn't explode is because doing these "fatalities" required an extreme precise situation. Pointless, as if you tried to do it, you ended up diverting from winning and just showing off like a douche.

@Doober717 This game was far better then Mortal Kombat 1, which came out at a similar time in 1993 and hyped to oblivion. Mortal Kombat 1 was the real turd, which was nothing without the fatalities. Of course Street Fighter is better. But this is an underrated game and many magazines realised Eternal Champions was far better then Mortal Kombat 1.

@ojideagu MK 1 came out in 1992, Eternal Champions Challenge of the darkside (which is what this youtube video is, which is also the better version of the two, because Eternal Champions on Sega/Mega Drive is a hunk of shit) came out in 1994... By then MK II was out... Destroying whatever the fuck anyone thought a fighting game was, including Street Fighter Tournament Edition...

@Twargan You need to install the codec that comes with Fusion. Should be in a folder that comes with fusion labeled Codec right click on the file inside (I think it's a dll file but I'm not sure.) and click the option that says install or something like that. It should show the video in a normal media player now. However, you'll need to convert it to a different codec before uploading it onto Youtube because Youtube doesn't support Fusion's custom video codec.

@Twargan Kega Fusion's AVI recorder has a special codec that needs to be installed. The codec is found in the folder that came with it labeled " Video Codec" There's a dll file labeled KGV1-VFW. Right click on it and select either "install" or "Register Library" depending upon what OS you have. This will only allow you to play videos in video playing programs. You'll need to convert it to another codec to upload it onto youtube since youtube can't recognize the Kega Fusion Codec.
