one of his best in my opinion. heard this years ago and have NEVER stopped loving it. thanks so much for uploaded this song as I have not been able to find it till now.
Heard this song 15 years ago late night while driving to college on the highway. The part that stuck in my head since was the part at :55 thru 1:00. I was MOVED. Damn radio DJ never came on to say who it was! Went to the record store a few time and hummed that part to the clerk and felt silly. They had no Idea :( Hard to find a jazz piece when there are no word. I should have known all along it was the Great Mr. Alpert. Playing this for my soulmate when the mood is right. She needs to hear it.
This song is Amazing. One night in 1991 when I was a senior in High School, me and my girlfriend was watching Midnight Love. When this song aired, my girlfriend ( Tara), turned to me and said "Turn it up, I love that song". Then she placed my hand on her lap and we kissed throughout the entire video. On that night, my son "Donovan's" egg was called and Tara (now my wife) became my son's mother. Oh what a night, and such great memories.
In memory of my mother, Gloria Cecilyn Neelmeyer-Fisher...we love you MOMMY. The tunes remind me of a life long journey for happiness. I love you, your daughter, Tracey and your grandchildren, Ryan, Maya, Iyan, Gregory, Gianna and sweet Giovanna. xoxxoxxoxoxo
@rumerboyz Hey Man...In 1988 I was in bootcamp and Advanced Electronics in San Diego California and I used to listen to this every night before I went to sleep...It is a great one!
Been looking for this for a long time! This used to get a lot of air time on CD 101.9 (WQCD, New York) back in the day (mid 90's). Thanks for sharing!
This song was the reason why I became a Herb Alpert fan!
