George Harrison was a devoted truth seeker who spread the truth that he found through his music and lyrics. He was a very spiritual guy, but he had a lot of distraction in his life and got caught up living in the material world. Although he sought the truth, he did not find the whole truth, because it couldn't be known at that time. Now it can. Search "Truth Contest" in Google and click the 1st result, then click on "The Present." What it says will blow your mind.
@MashPotatoBoy did you live thru the beautiful "60,s", I DID,flower power was it,not anarchy like today's media portray' us.that was San Francisco, and look at what they all have become. need we say more?
People should remember that the beetles got a lot of stick from the Professional Musos at the beginning of their time. Most of them ate their words later on. I can remember people saying that they had ghost writers etc. But no doubt about it they were great, I hope Paul and Ringo will be around for a long time yet. Together with the other two boys they changed the face of Music forever.
I actually bought this first as a 45 rpm record. Still got it, with the original sleeve. As soon as I had the money I bought the album. Great to have it here on youtube! Thanks!
Whenever I sing along with this song I usually end up getting teary eyed because I love the way this sounds and I also love the words but mostly because I think about how this was from George's first solo album and because of the line "Tell me what is my life without your love" - I love the way he sings that.RIP George,we'll always love you :')
Hello, All. I saw George in 1974 in Chicago, ILL. He had a slightly sore throat, but was still Great! Just being in the same room with a Beatle was a major treat. Thank you for all the great tunes George. Rest In Peace knowing how much we will ALWAYS care. Peace.
@LennonHarrisonFan96 - Hello. Yes, I do feel lucky I got to see 2 Beatles individually since I never saw all 4 in concert. Just FYI, at a Beatles Convention, the look-a-like contest entrants represented the various looks of George (from "mop-top" to the "All Things Must Pass/Rip Van Winkle look). The audience chose the "George" who looked like he did on Ed Sullivan, although the others all received appreciative applause also. Best Wishes, Peace to ALL.
@flakbac And he gave lots of that up,to the Harry Krishna,s.George was the most spirtual Beattle out off them all.And for me his songs are up there with the best.Lennon was probably more cooler, for people who dont get spirtuality. As he was coming from a more political angle. They all were really good though. At least they had something to say, that made you think
@TheDarthEddie That was probably the funniest comment I've ever read on youtube, and I didn't even catch the reference until the next day. Ah, good stuff!
What I feel, I can't say But my love is there for you anytime of day But if it's not love that you need Then I'll try my best to make everything succeed Tell me, what is my life without your love Tell me, who am I without you, by my side What I know, I can do If I give my love now to everyone like you But if it's not love that you need Then I'll try my best to make evrything succeed
George, you were ALWAYS Fab and you were ALWAYS a First Class artist, never econo. George, you brought so much joy into people's lives and you were always true to your musical muse. You never once compromised your talent or what you believed in for anybody. George, we'll always love you.

i have found some strange postings on 2 you-tube sites that i am trying to work out........"qi stephen fry puts alan in his place" and "robert garopa".....go through the back comments for 3 months.
The movie where the main character said "I'm A Snoke" and the character who said thoes lines he's acutely REAL AND HE'S STILL ALIVE! They Soy He Either Got Out Of Jail Or He's Still In Jail?
THIS WAS THE"B" SIDE OF "MY SWEET LORD" (SHOULD HAVE BEEN RELEASED AS A SINGLE IN THE UK) I BELIEVE "OLIVIA NEWTON JOHN" HAD A MINOR HIT WITH IT (*THINK IT WAS EARLY 1972) A BRILLIANT CLASSIC SONG OF HIS.
This day ten years ago i awoke to a text that said "did you hear the news poor aul George Harrison is dead...another lost legend gone to join John in the big jukebox in the sky."It feels more poignant today because it is so hard to believe it was ten years ago.Love,George.{the person who text me i haven't seen or heard in a very long time but george i still hear a lot.}
Rest in peace my dearest George. We all love you and miss you very very very much. Thank you for your wonderful music and for the impact you made on each one of us. <3
Gracias por tu música, George. Aunque sigues ausente, los beatlemaniacos nunca te olvidaremos... Hoy, a una década de tu partida, te recordamos y elevamos una oración a Mi Dulce Señor.
All Things Must Pass is the best Beatles album and its not even not a Beatles album. Its like he waited to exhale or pee until the band broke up and then it all came out in one gush. Everything he wanted at the height of his creativity.

I thank all the died musicians of the Peace era would just say " Who cares, just let it be" about Todays music.
The music of the 60s nearly died off by 70s disco.
70s disco died off by the early 80s punk rock.
80s punk rock died off by 80s slash metal.
80s slash metal died off to 90s grunge, and so on.
Its all a evolution of music. Todays music will come and go. Lets just hope tomorrows will be influence by the 60s flower power.

Poor George! His new (only) documentary skipped
theaters and went straight to cable TV. Even the title
of it "Living In A Material World" seems to be a tacit
acknowledgement that George often didn't LIVE
what he PREACHED. For reasons no one quite
understands, Scorsese chose to interview the convicted
murderer and mentally ill Phil Spector to get his
"opinion" about George Harrison. My god, it was like
asking Charles Manson what he thought of George!
Even in death George can't get respect
