This is music? I would appreciate it more as a series of sounds; as music, i appreciate it not at all. It is sound and fury, signifying nothing.

What do you consider music? I don't know who said it but the quote is, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." To me music is sound that evokes an emotion, so what music is can differ from person to person. I personally wouldn't say that something isn't music because I don't understand it which doesn't make me stupid. I don't understand French but I don't say it isn't a language.

The goal of music is to transport the listener to some place of the artists choosing , to induce feelings and to cause thoughts to arise. One doesen't have to like it but there it is.

I would also add texture and dynamics to that list. That being said, I wouldn't refer to a random computer generated sequence of tones which was absolute in key and rythym as music, wheras such a composition would be technically regarded as a piece of music. It must have something besides the aforementioned attributes and that is soul, emotion, imprinted consciousness or whatsoever one chooses to name it. I know forthright the actual definition from a dictionary, but to me it lacks completion

A promising video, though i think the knife was far from belonging, the begining was an incredebly decent shot at surealism but unfortunatly you aimed too "horror" for it to appeal to me, i don't think that worked. none the less keep up the good work

Very promising. It was much more interesting/engrossing before the knife-play came into it--at which point I feel cliché takes over for imagination a little too much. Keep up the good work! And dare to push with visual poetry.

it's a really cool video for this music, yet the only thing that bothers me is the knife-over-wrist shots, and the killer-with-a-knife shot by the window. as elements they are too realistic, too connected to something we know from real life or popular culture, whereas the rest is way more abstract.

I love Ligeti's music. Genius. And nice work here too. Fits well with the piece. How about doing his "Atmospheres" or sections of his Requiem, used in 2001 Space Odyssey? Looking forward to what you'll do with those. :0
