It's not that surprising to anyone who has seen them live. The simple answer to how he hits the high notes is that he doesn't. He can't sing half of Panic's songs live. I was very disappointed when I saw them live. If you can't sing it live you have no business recording it.
@ajohnson153 Perhaps you went to a show where he was sick or something - I've seen him singing live, he hit the high notes just fine (especially in Camisado).
And of the videos on youtube, the only one where I've seen him sing badly was the VMAs. That was awful.

@coolhomie777 I don't know where you got the idea that I care what you think. I have personally seen him in concert and was unimpressed with what I saw. You can vote down my comment all you want but it doesn't change my opinion. I respect your right to disagree with me. It's only fair.
@ajohnson153 if you say so. it's just that ur missing a lot from what u can hear from his great voice. and hey there is an extremely high possibility that he was sick in that concert that you went to. many who have seen him live seem to really love his performance.
