  • i think he should do the end of every ted event

  • While I laugh I realise how fucked we are.

  • ha ha translate audio feature failure lol at beta, beta do better next time fail

  • well said global.

  • the little clip at the end was hypnotizing

  • Gordon brown closed down and stole from a perfectly solvent Icelandic bank, which took away my life's savings... funny? hell no. Gordon Brown is a thief, nothing more than a common criminal, and after he stole my life's savings, I would gladly pull the trigger on a gun with a bullet directed at his brain. No problem. I would gladly kill him.

  • @shashintokyo Fun!

  • damned good clear minded thinking. Didn't take sides just pointed out how damned funny the whole thing is in retrospect.

  • Hilarious ~5:45

    "no you c-nt"

  • Should The Government :

    A. provide education B. provide Health care C. provide community development programs, Information and / or services

    D. All of the above, & set straight any disinformation.

    Or

    E. None of the above. Close schools, slash healthcare & community programs, & support a disinformation policy.

    Next Question

    Do You :

    A. Trust the government & do nothingB. Distrust the government & do nothing

    C. Force choice D. on the government

  • Great act, it had something to both offend and please any partisan.

  • He was definitely struggling a bit there.

  • cool :)

  • Great impressions. This man is a comedian critic. Not someone who is to change the world.

  • Great. xD

  • Wow, I didn't know he was left handed.

  • Bush bashing is so 2005.

  • The horse still has life in it.

  • Yes - good - I'm glad Rory has been able to introduce an international audience to the far from golden image Gordon has domestically.

A little bit of objectivity was required for a man who may talk about big plans but who's fast approaching the May election, with Labour still 8 points behind in the polls. That's a closing gap, but I still don't see voter perception of him changing to a positive yet.

  • not Rory's best

  • "And there is Geaorge Bush doing... ahhh ahhh ahhh ahh" lols!

  • This guy is the master of the lame dad joke.

  • Love the ending! Haha

    Funny guy.

  • His Bill Clinton is brilliant !!

  • Yay, clap clap clap. Ha ha ha

  • i found this pretty funny!

  • What is he doing here? Ah well, he is damn good at impersonations.

  • it was damn good

  • He's better than the music acts they pick.

  • OK, argueexplain, I gotta give that one to you.

  • not funny,

    bordering on pathetic,

no, no he's still going on,

and it is, without doubt, pathetic.

  • Aquatic apes? Lawl. Bremner is great, TED is awesome, but someone screwed up letting that woman bang on about aquatic apes.

  • @rulesandwisdom Did you actually not listen to a word, or even looked into the science? Then SHUT UP.

  • I think you're confusing me with a creationist :@

The aquatic apes theory is completely separate to the theory of evolution, and is regarded by most evolutionary biologists as silly. Thunderfoot, Hitchens and all our common heroes would agree!

  • @rulesandwisdom Not at all, but as she said, those people can be wrong. What she says makes sense from a biological point of view. Merely dismissing it because other people say so is the first step on the path to dogma, which is something which we must avoid at all costs.

  • Well then I guess I disagree that it makes sense from a biological point of view, as do most evolutionary biologists. There's a difference between trusting the general scientific consensus and being dogmatic. Just as there is a difference between being open-minded and believing that the Royal family are actually Lizards.

  • Okay, point taken. Also, my apologies for being a bit irratable, I'd just had an argument with a flat-earther. (Genuinely.) So again, my apologies, and shall we just agree to disagree?

  • Haha fair enough! As always, I'm willing to change my mind in future if the right evidence comes along. Thanks for a civil and enjoyable (mini) debate

  • Don't you have a sense of humour? what else did you expect when the speaker was Rory Bremner.

  • dude, its called TED (Technology Entertainment and Design) this is the entertainment part of it.

  • He is joking if you didnt get it. And alot of his jokes are striaght on.

  • True.

    Can do good impression though.

  • Hes funny, but i'm disappointed hes feeding peoples paranoia about british jobs for scottish people. For the record i dont think its fair scottish mps get to vote on english affairs, but the media here is making it all sound worse than it actually is, trying to create controversy. Sure we need someone to blame for our problems, but our biggest problems lie within ourselves! I wish this blame game would stop :(

  • wow

  • lol he owned gordon brown

  • This man is VERY funny.

  • The damn truth.

  • xDDDD

  • rory bremner!

  • TED FTW
