Its funny that the speed of the ball actually had the opposite effect, so many players had trouble making crosses or controlling long passes that offenses lost a lot of opportunities.

A few of the players learned how to use it well, especially in free kicks, but over all the extra speed actually helped the goalies.

I don't understand something. At 0:50, you see the ball doing that "weird pattern" but its called a KNUCKLE. That's what it's supposed to do when it has no spin on it.
