Ahh Tristania...

In my opinion this is everything Evanescence wish they could have been but they didn't have enough 'cojones' or talent to pull it off. This is how Gothic is done kiddies! It's not too dark that it oppresses and it's not fastidiously overdone; it's raw and epic, and there's none of that preachy bullshit either. The music, the lyrics, the choirs, the vocals...all perfection!

But it does take a special pair of ears to listen as well as to appreciate Tristania's beauty.

Tristania is not even Tristania anymore. And that's not an opinion. Lets face the facts the amazing original band is gone. They kicked Morten out (IMO their biggest mistake) But still were alright until they got rid of everything that made there sound unique and amazing: taking away the choirs, violins and then Vibeke left. The band should just quit.
