So you're suggesting bird exhibits, walk-thru aviaries and large buildings you can look into. Those are some awesome ideas, and I propose LARGE reptile houses (the current one is crap) which you would be able to edit yourself (build exhibits, have a variety of enviorments and items, and being able to purchase reptiles and amphibians).
It was just a closed in garden but they can easily be modified into a reptile exhibit.
