  • im waving guns at nuns.......WOAHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • nASSSSSSSS

  • Yeh MC Search was the joint back in the day listen to my homeboy for incredible wordplay JimmyJames Hardcore Appeal out now.

  • i think I'm developing "White Aggression" after watching

  • some pretty cleaver wordplay on this track

  • I'd like to see Chubb Rock cook and eat half the wack rappers out there.

  • Everybody rocked, except Nas. Just kill it.

  • Sounds like a fusion of ice cube and biggie

  • lol, whenever there's a fat black rapper, everyone is like "HE'S COPYING BIGGIE" regardless of time period or rhyme style....

  • if you're a true hip hop fan, you can't not get goose bumps when Nas comes out.

  • My rhymes are hotter than a prostitute with gonhorea...

  • I hate when they insert corny lyrics to replace explicit sh*t, how you gonna say

"Cause I"m comin off like dresses at the prom"?

    No disrespect though

  • ....daawg...i been reciting the third verse for years..thats was my favorite verse on the whole track...and until i saw the video today i didnt kno that was NAS....

  • @jusfaso He even says in the verse who he is...

  • ........was that nas..........

  • KICK 'Em in the Grill Serch. ...

Always made me laugh back in the early 90's when I heard this tune. Fantastic rapper

  • Is MC Serch the white dude

  • A lot of people say Eminem was the first white rapper to get resepct in the game but in reality MC Search paved the way.

  • @bobbyewing311 You got that right and let's not forget Everlast in the time with The Rhyme Syndicate Posse with Ice T and Donald D

  • @bobbyewing311 This is completely diffrent rap compared to eminem.... nothing is similar

  • @bobbyewing311 umm wronggggggggggggggggg.. beastie boys paved way for all and any white rappers

  • @JaeTree True dat!

  • @bobbyewing311 that was the beastie boys actually, but serch is dope!

  • @bobbyewing311 beastie were cool but MC search was WAYYYY COOOLER I would take his style over beastie anyday EMinem mos def follwed suit of more great white rappers

  • @bobbyewing311 haha. dudes a clown

  • @bobbyewing311 I think yur forgetting the beastie boys

  • Lol..camille grammer appears in this vid.

  • Dope ensemble rap.

  • YOUNG NAS WHAT A LEGEND

  • The speech bubble annoys me. He clearly says "you need a posse the size of the nazis to attack this," and not "... attacked us."

  • Serch killed it! nas got schooled by the boss right here.

why the fuck didnt nas give serch a guest in illimatic? seems fitting.

serch is so underrated it pisses me off.

Return of the Product dont forget!

  • @trappedinlife29 nah serch did his thing but you hella trippin sayin nas got schooled on this he had the hottest verse.

  • @trappedinlife29 Serch produced plenty of tracks from illmatic, no features but Nas is kinda picky with features, especially since it was his debut.

  • @cptorangutang2 1.) MC Serch didn't produce any track from Illmatic. He was the Exec. Producer though. 2.) AZ was featured on "Life Is a Bitch".

  • @RuthIessVillain 1.) Sorry, you're right 2.) I said no features with Serch, not no features at all.

Whatever all I'm saying is that Nas did pay his dues to Serch, it's not like he used Serch for a feature in this song then never works with him again.

  • nas is the illest there is a god on the mic i wish mcs where more the 90s day and age now rap iz dead

  • "serial killa who works by the phone book"

That shit was nice yo Nas spits raww!!!

  • Hip Hop = great. Rap = trash. Plain and simple.

  • Dammmm old skool CLASSIC! Great upload man

  • Rap was great until 1995/1996, for me.

  • theres d hair me n scotty remember!,,back to the grill? gee,,,,,,,,,,,memories,,,,,we r never going in the food business again dude,,,!!! glad it worked for u !,,,

  • I used to love it when Kid Capri would cut this jawn up on Def Comedy Jam.

  • I had no idea Nas was in this video. Haven't seen this since 1992 (or 3)... when I was roughly 8 years old. Rare video. I have seen it twice.

  • jew hop. serch was fuckin garbage.

  • 1:42-2:10, that is all

  • @chirpyburpy No, thats not all, whole song is great.

  • which year is this song from?

  • @CheytacTrinity my bad 92'

  • Back to the grill again to grill some chicken .... grill some chicken again

  • i love this song

  • Your dumb when you just talks about beastie boys and 3rd bass being the only White boys come on house of pain was the best

  • @pontus227 house of pain was not the best

beasty boys are wayy better then them

milkbone was a beast on that track but i forgotton the name

  • @REALKILLADEALRECORDS in my opinion house of pain was the first hardcore white group havent you heard theres two last album they was hardcore but you are right beastie boys are very good and pionners and so and milkbone i only heard one track from him i though he used big l,s beat from devils son and that was good but the best beastie boys records was probably check your head and top 5 boroughs

  • @pontus227

yh those beasty ones good but i really like stick em up

na milkbone keep it real isnt that beat but big l and jay z did a freestyle on it which was a sickk freestyle

  • @REALKILLADEALRECORDS yeah stick em up was something different that was hardcore and do you know if milkbone done anything lattely i heard he dissed someone dont remeber who it was though

  • chubb rock is the shit

  • I'm wavin automatic guns at nuns....How can you top that....

  • I taught my mom about Nas

  • "I'm waving automatic guns at nuns" Damn Nas GOAT

  • wow, the lyrics are pretty vicious, although the upbeat instrumental makes them take you by suprise

  • Nas! Word!

  • Haha, the opening was fucking beast.

  • why isnt this on Itunes

  • I wonder when Nas appeared in this video, did he know he'd become Hip hop's greatest poet alive today?

  • These was one the HOTTEST white boys out, next 2 Beastie Boyz...

  • @H0ttSaUc3 3rd Bass are lyrically better than Beastie Boys

  • @H0ttSaUc3 The Beastie Boys were b4 #rd Bass so,diff times 4 for their style of hip hop but, still cant take NOTHING from them....

  • @H0ttSaUc3 I dunno man, as freakin awesome as they are, I never really saw the Beastie's as a rap group. 3rd Bass (particularly Serch) were all out golden era hip hop. Much props Chubb Rock.

  • @ThEOlSnAkEHiPs..3rd Bass was a a very late 80's early 90's group and,Beastie Boys early 2 mid-80's....By the time 3RD Bass came out, they were way better than Beasties!

  • From the cons and the pros to the pros and the cons call me a motherfucker I say "Yeah I fucked your moms", brilliant just brilliant.

  • Cereal killah who works by the phone book... LOL

  • @lyricsfromsweden dont make fun of nas

  • isnt that the same background sample as Wu-Tangs Shame on a nigga?

  • @camoflaugetampex - one good album..hahahahaha...... who is this Nature? Mega is that you?

  • Epic hip-hop classic.

  • other than the first verse to ny state of mind this might be my favorite nas verse

  • Mc serch > Mac Miller

  • @Scarface6563 eh, mac miller is actually one of the good rappers out today.

  • @Nixta245 nahhhhhhhhhh

  • @Nixta245 LMAO blasphemy....only above ground modern rappers im impressed by is J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar...Mac Miller was nicer when he was younger...

  • @camoflaugetampex wow jesus you are a joke nasty nas said it the best "fake thug no love you get the slug"

  • @camoflaugetampex lol nigga word is bond son ima pill yo cap dun word god...crabb ass nigga!

  • @camoflaugetampex and who are you?get off nas dick he rich and you aint cuh...player hater!

  • Man, this is such a fucking sick song!

  • BEST VIDEO EVER NAS IS SO COOL HE JUST FUCKING STROLLS AROUND THE CORNER

  • anyone see a little biggie influence in mc serch?

  • @iamacreature This album came out in 1992 before Biggie. Cactus Album came out in 89.

  • @iamacreature How can he be influenced by big when he was out before big?

  • I would like to thank main source and 3rd bass for bringing this fucking amazing mc known as NAS to the rap game.

  • Nas is the only part of this video that isn't a joke.

  • @solitudesblind C'MON SON.... the whole tune is dope! Chubb Rock is insane and Search is DOPE on this track.......Nas ripped it too, this is just a CLASSIC! one of the best tracks on Search's album...tho saying that "Return of the product" is super cool from start to finish...... its what 3rd Bass tried to do but failed!

  • compared to the shit hip hop today everybody killed it in this track

  • JUST FOR THE RECORD I WAS WRITE DOPE ASS RHYME BACK THEN TOO. NO BULLSHIT... KNOWLEDGE IN THE CIPHER. DO YOUR HOME WORK.. SEEMS LIKE JUST YESTERDAY

  • I love how everyone comes off comic and Nas just comes off hard, he was letting you know he was comming.

  • At the very beginning MC Serch said "And your more optimistic then the sounds of blackness"

Unfortunately, he is the only person in history to ever think blackness can be optimistic. Why does that not surprise me?

  • @DjPyro2010 He's Talking about the group 'Sounds of Blackness' and their tune from the 80's which was... wait for it... wait for it... (you ready yet?) ... 'OPTIMISTIC' . Do your homework son.

  • "...cause YOU are a BLAAABER-mouth"

  • happy 4/20

  • Seriously though, what fountain of youth is Nas drinking from? This video came out almost 20yrs and Nas still looks the same as he did then! Share the secrets to your youthful looks dude, and fuck that hoe-Kelis!

  • @titusandi How about Pharrell? That nigga is older than Nas and looks 19 years old.

  • @countchunkula Older in months, but anyway.. thats right, Pharrell is 38!! years old and looks 20 years old younger!!

  • @titusandi It's called being black. Black don't crack homeboy.

  • @titusandi LOl i know right?? Him and Em are the same age but Nas looks the same since Illmatic, Eminem just got a skinnier face and black hair and his voice got deeper but Nas voice was more gangsta in the 90's

  • I love Mc Serch's voice.

  • Mc Serch had hipster glasses WAYYYYY before they went mainstream !! LOL

  • wavin automatic guns at nuns

  • Is that Big L at 3:11?

  • this is real hip hop!!!

  • the classic theme . the rhythm is right and the beat is a butter

  • 1992 & 1993 had some whack sounds in hip hop...with all that tongue flipping.

  • Comment removed

  • Everyone's verse sounds so old-school and playful and then Nas comes out of nowhere with a verse that sounds like it belonged on Illmatic. Definitely more suited to a Primo or Large Professor type production.

  • Good old Def jam.....Wheres Pete Nice? Rich

  • True without white man Mc Serch there would be no NAS.Think about it.White guy with killer rhymes and he succeded. :).Now skill doesnt matter just the looks.

  • Serch looks like da dude from stuart little...jonathan lipnikki

  • Serch outshined EVERYBODY on this. White dude in 93 spitting multis and shit back then, truly ahead of his time.

  • @adilomar are you crazy? nas murdered this track. but serch was pretty nasty tho.

  • What is great to me about MC Serch's story is that a white boy who looks like the biggest goof turned out to be the rapper and producer who broke Nas to the world. Serch proves to me that it really is about rhymes in the end, not image. For real stars and musicians of that caliber, it's about the sound, not appearance and that's something to be respected!

  • but hey yo, im white, i guess my game is hockey!! hell yes!! rap was FUN back in this day

  • "my rhymes are hotter than a prostitute with gonnorhea" - NAS REALLY? gonnorhea is hot? since when?

  • @mootzie maybe he means like red hot like... dodgy... hot can mean stolen heated up man learn to play on words with your mind or you will never get real hiphop.......

  • @mootzie it's a reference to the term 'burnin,' which means you have a STI such as gonorrhea .

  • have to say i dont like much rap ,,,but this guy is cool love it ( yes im a old man ) lol bless

  • red hot lover is so wack.. nas and serch killed it

  • dope

  • 10 people consider li wayne a *cough*cough* better mc the 3rd bass :|

  • HAHA!!! FOUND another CLassic, one of the tracks

that introduce NAS to the world an help him to SHINE!

    WHite,black,latino dont matter GOOD Hip-hop isGOOD Hip-HOP!

an MC Serch was a Sick Emcee..

  • yup i think you MAY be right. depending on the year rthis came out. he was 16!! for

" Live at the BBQ" which was 90/91 so he may have been..PSYCHO!!

  • @srekal88 ....good looks, fam on trying to answer my question.. Yeah, it definitely seemed like he was dissing somebody in particular.

  • lyrical professor keep you under pressure!!

  • what year was this made and how old was Nas?

  • @slider4life 1992 and Nas was about nineteen

  • @slider4life nas was a teenager, around 19 or 18

  • @mcGall5 nope he was 16!!

  • @malanse67 no i think he was 19 but still. amazing!

  • "......then I heard the song about your tech on your dresser.."

  • Hiphop is big business now,the simplicity is gone, they say some of us live in the pas but who wants to be a part of a large mainstream culture now? I cant relate to it anymore it

  • yeah eminem is the best white rapper, but I doubt he has the best songs, you can be in full control of your lyrics, but have no control of how the song comes.out at the end, or how the audience responds to it..just like most artists today eminem included, its a new school sound, alot of intricate production, you wouldnt hear little wayne or eminem rappin on a simple james brown sample(simple meaning a basic inztrument section, with a drum loop over it)..the music has changed

  • One of the best raps of all times! But yeah, here you start to see the advent of the frontin and violence that dominated the 90's and ruined many many lives. Hip hop is a way of life. Violent rap is a front, a fake, a shell between the soul and the sun of creativeness. Peace!

  • @humblebein

Agreed. Rap was great before the gangsta rap

  • @woodyfly gangsta rap after 2000 is bullshit but at 80`s and 90`s it was real like old school boom bap...i prefer listen classic rap but some of my favourites like 2pac,eazy e,spice 1,paris,d.o.c,mc eiht, too short was gangsta rappers

  • who was Search dissin at the end of that track?

  • chubb rock's part gets me nodding my head from the start, even before, pops outta the corner all :) and waves at ya, then rips shit.

  • 1:03 - 1:43 <3

  • I think i'ma be the first to say it: Red Hot Lover Tone killed everybody on this joint

  • @lyricsfromsweden naw....his bars were hot, but he wasnt slayin nothin on that track. Everybody did their thing. But I love RHLT's "NOT" bit.

  • @lyricsfromsweden Haha, eller kanske inte :)

  • And people say that Eminem is the best white rapper. Hah

  • Oh yeah!

  • Original Verbal Assassin, Nas killed it

  • the grillegan

  • "This Is Nas Kid You Know How It Runs, I'm Waving Automatic Guns At Nuns.

Sticking Up The Preachers In The Church I'm A Stone Crook,

Serial Killer Who Works By The Phone Book".

    Nas = ill

  • Is this a Burger King Commercial?

  • @mccarrpo HAHA! :D

  • @mccarrpo yes

  • Chubb Rock BODIED this muthafucka!

  • one of the best hip hop songs..

  • 2:20 LMAO i didnt know MARK HENRY could dance & flow....

  • @DABEAST612 LOL Grade-A player hatin'. *applauds*

  • hip hop culture of the best,

  • Some of the worst clothes ever....glad those days are over.

  • @douginamerica I agree with you homey, but I rather have sick rhymes and fuck up clothes of the early 90s, then fuck up rhymes and tight clothing this dickheads wear today.

  • @douginamerica

This aint about image. I wouldnt care If these rappers wore dresses. besides half the stuff worn in this vid looks better then some of the stuff worn nowadays.

  • @trappedinlife29

Half this stuff looks better than stuff worn these days? Uh no. Not really. Image is everything man.

  • @douginamerica "Image is everything man."

the fuck? that will go down in your lifetime as one of the most stupid things you have ever said. I only hope in years to come you will live to regret it.

  • @trappedinlife29

I hope you grow up and realize the truth: Image is everything. You can't comprehend it so you....just deny it.

  • @douginamerica are you kidding me? this clothing is awesome! i'm trying to resurrect it

  • @lyricsfromsweden

    Um...yeah...good luck with that.

  • @douginamerica thanks, i will really need it and in case it doesn't work me and my friend will still live it like that :D

  • rememba dis ish!?!!

  • So from the cons and pros to the pros and the cons

call me a mother fucker I'll say yeah I fucked your moms.

Until she calls back I'm gonna chill, red hot lover tone, chub rock, kick em in the grill.

That's the last line to the song. This is edited for radio. Much better on the album.

  • And now: MC SERCH.

    BK IN DA HOUSE!

  • Comment removed

  • So this is where they got the beat for "Sweat From My Balls" from!

  • nas killed it

  • @STONEHEADCOMPANY nas kills everything... except hip hop

  • @STONEHEADCOMPANY And Nas will kill you too if you try to rap, moron !
