Nice video! The Al III is the best helicopter ever AFTER the Lama (I'm in the swiss Alps and I make helos pics very often). What is the s/n of ZS-RNV? Where can you order full glass rear doors????
Thank you and yes she is a fantastic machine - versatile and capable of cruising full fuel 6-up over here in the South African highveld with that dreaded altitude+heat combination. S/N 1746 built in France by Aerospatiale in 1971 (N9363 in the US). I had the doors custom-made for me by a company called Acryl Forms, based in Cape Town, South Africa.
Such an awesome helicopter, practically in it's natural element for you guys lol. In my opinion it's a better machine then our UH1 for it's time, and it still must be a very useful workhorse for a variety of tasks. Long live Alouette III
