um excuse me. I trained, and still do, with Vito's kibble. So he is earning his breakfast and lunch every day. Vito is 16 months old now and knows a hell of a lot more then any dog you will ever own and is very trim. you can see his current weight on any of the more recent videos I've put up.
thank you :) shaping is just getting the dog to understand that he has to DO something in order to get rewarded. It teaches your dog how to think and that interacting with a new object is good. In this video I used a cat toy, sometimes I use a box, or if I'm teaching a specific trick I use that object. Like I shaped the "go to place" using a mat as the object, and "achoo" (Bring me kleenex), using a tissue box as the object!
