It's deep fried chickpeas with spices like parsley, garlic, leek, cummin...and what not. It varies a lot by who is making it.

Yeah, there's a local pizza chain called Egyptian Pizza that has a mix of Italian, Greek, and Middle Eastern cuisine (sometimes all at once), but their food takes awhile. This place looks like it would be great for a quick lunch.
