@coolguyflex Well, if you're going to be making an animation with character development and a plot revolving around story rather than action, then stick figures should be the last thing on your mind. However, if you're focusing on action, then the simplicity of your characters really doesn't matter.

Another reason could be: Fights are fun to animate, sticks are easy to animate, so it's fun and easy.

I don't care if your question was rhetorical, you got an answer.
