personally I have opera, safari, chrome and firefox all installed. Either in their most recent stable release or beta. I just tend to use whichever feels the most up to date.

This will never be IE unless they make big changes. As in making it a completely different browser.

Okay, we develop on a specific browser, we won't appreciate why other browsers won't run properely the same script BUT, why am I sticking to FF now ? I was working for ages with IE !? IT IS Because IE users don't want to upgrade their browser. Web developers can not handle two or more releases of the same product. If internet explorer want to last they have to force their users to upgrade. Beside IE started to stick to standards, good move, keep going.

All these people are saying get FF but i find with IE8 except speed there is no real difference, i had enough of firefox when they forced me to always have the tab bar there even when i had only 1 tab (yes they have removed that now) but ive gone to google chrome and i cant go back, firefox and IE are too similar, google chrome takes massive leaps ahead of all other browsers!

Don't say that. For a new comer, chrome is incredibly up to date with standards(BUT). Firefox is the lonely platform for developing new scripts. You have to first make them run on one browser right ? With other ones we are blocked for un-standardized reasons. With FF I know it is MY fault rather than Mozilla's. Stick to firefox, it still always render faster. Chrome is equivalent but few history engine issues though. I forgive them of course because beside of that, everything runs perfect as FF.
