  • Nicely done!

  • That's my home town! Born and raised there graduated from Vale Union High in '58.

4th of July was always the biggest thing in my young life!

  • I grew up in Vale. I miss the foot ball games, for as small as the town is we all ways got a large crowd.

I miss water skiing in bully creek and the 4th of July.

  • Hey i remember you, you helped my mom with that one thing that one time!!!

  • I was an exchange student there. VHS's so awesome. Nice people! Missmiss

  • Hey, I live in Vale!

  • Ya I use to live in Vale for like two years. Bets years of my life.

  • It's a friendly town. I live in Miami, but I have had the pleasure of going to Vale several times because my sister-in-law lives there with her husband, and every time she talks about leaving I remind her that she doesn't know how good she has it. The folks are friendly, everyone in town knows each other, and there is zero crime, not to mention the big sky, the wild life, the Snake River, just too many nice things to say about Vale.

  • Vale pretty cool

in middle school we versed them in all sports

they always won except one year we won our basketball game....Nampa Christian Midldle

  • very nice. My "What's Inside" video is in Oregon City....the End of the Oregon Trail

  • First of all -- GO VIKINGS! This was a magnificent little video. I lived in Vale from '68 to '79 and just moved back to the Treasure Valley. I appreciate the snippet of a local delicacy -- French Fries with brown gravy, hehe. The Starlite, incidentally, has the best pie selection in the western U.S.

  • Wonderful video, very well written and filmed. It almost makes me want to hop in the car and go visit Vale myself.

  • What an awesome video. Well done, Gino! I'll be sharing this with all my friends in WA who constantly ask, "Where is that???"

  • It is a great town, And they have one of THE BEST football teams in the state for the 3A division. I i go to riverside high school in Boardman and get to play with Vale High....tough buncha kids

  • this is kool, its nice that you made a video about your home town ^_^

  • Vale is one of the great Oregon towns. I remember reading a great play about the Suicide Race. And by the way, Bob Caputi is a star...

  • Thanks, Chris, I get the feeling you're really feeling nostalgia for Vale.

  • Beautifully done video about Vale! My aunt and uncle lived there for over thirty years before recently moving to Cove. Chances are, if you're from the area, you probably know exactly who they are just by that. :)

  • Nope. Haven't a clue.

  • Well done, Eugene! Nice to see a documentary that respects its subject. None of the smarm or condescending attitude or hopeless cynicism that seem to permeate todays movies. Keep it up!

  • Thanks, but how come you only gave me four stars?

  • Hellzapoppingofun. Watch this film! Gino Caputi knows what time it is.

  • I love this video. Vale truly is a great little town.

  • Great video of Vale, OR. I love this town. It is a great place to visit and an even better place to live.

  • Love it. Reminds me of Montucky. Nice piece, Gino. The music is perfect... I ever tell you I have a thing for ranch girzzzzz?

  • I could see that.
