Well, I believe I have read every word on your website now and used a magnifying glass over your cane/sculpture images~ One question leads to another, a single observation launches a cannon ball of ideas~ The three dimensionality and if I may say, almost metaphorical design of some of these canes twists my thoughts into a sort of moebius chain~ I realize why I couldn't find your website~ I didn't notice the blend of two different web addresses without a space~ I ache to engage your

Thanks, Brian. Polymer clay is a low temperature fire clay, only 275 degrees Fahrenheit. If you want to check out how I make each and every cane by hand go to my website, just Google, Adam Thomas Rees Sculptor and it should come up. and click on the link at the top that says, "Cane Making."

The foil doesn't burn away at that low temp but I doubt it would withstand the high temps you use in porcelain.

this is outstanding can i ask you what are canes? also does the metal foil burn away during firing ? and would the foil damage any other items in the kiln or any damage to the kiln itself ....i ama a porcelain maker and wonder if this process would woek with porcelain clay?
