Looks like something computer generated.

First, a aircraft doesn't just randomly appear on the screen; the "sweep" has to go through it first.

Second, the objects on the objects on the radar screen should appear momentarily; doesn't stay on there for ever.

Third, since radars are so high-tech and primarily used in military applications, the grid doesn't look like anything compared to one on a battleship or even at a airport.
