  • I like the way he rubs it.

  • I calculated a 72 inch diameter spherical piece of granite to be around 19420 pounds. Probably not hollow.

  • How did i get here from minecraft: cube inc.?

  • Im guessing it went in the lobby of someplace that could afford it

  • how do they make it perfectly round? Hammer and chisle?

  • @TactiFred Special machines they put them through. Giant circular vibrating grinders polish them down to the circle.

  • is it hollow??? if not... WOW....

  • This would be the greatest thing I've ever seen... IF it had a detailed world map printed onto it. Still probably one of the coolest things I've seen recently though.

  • They have on of these at Disneyland. I could watch it for hours.

  • it's nice but it's quite the waste of energy to pump that up for decades

  • The tiny box some peoples' minds live in does not allow them to appreciate something like this

  • 1 person dislikes geometry

  • can i touch it =o

  • I just wonder why someone would dislike it?

  • @rinkagamine991 cause theyre jealous that someone has a bigger ball than them

  • @rinkagamine991 One word, jealousy.

  • What did it take to suspend it? 10 PSI?" more, less? My math puts it at 6.7 PSI

  • Granite averages 168 lbs per ft cubed, a 72" sphere would have a volume of 112 ft cubed, which would put it's weight at 18,900 lbs.

  • how do you polish them

  • @johny27ful with a rag or towel.

  • do you know anything about stone work im working in stone industry for 10 years and you dont polish with a rag or towel mite

  • @johny27ful do you usually use something? because since it's got water flowing around it all the time it's most likely safe to use a towel for it.

  • Thanks for posting! How do you control the direction or speed of rotation for the sphere?

  • Beautiful work. you must be proud, but next time don,t let the comments get to you, there are too many little people to respond to them all,

and talk more on how it was made. inquiring minds want to know. Thanks for sharing.
