  • i'm 23, married, and pregnant with my first child. they announced the line around the beginning of my pregnancy and i was thrilled! i don't want to have to spend tons of money to look decent just because i happen to be pregnant. and lots of adults shop at forever 21! teenagers actually only make up about 25% of forever 21's customer base.

  • I'm 27 years old and am expecting my first child.

I can tell you that most of the maternity clothes out there is aimed more towards older people. I dont want to dress like an old lady just because im pregnant!!!

there arent many choices out there that are affordable so this in my opinion is a great business for them to get into! Not only teenagers shop at forever 21!

  • omg LOL seeing maternity clothes doesn't

make girls want to get pregnant if anything they

would be like oh that looks big, if Im pregnant

I could never wear the cuter small clothes....lol

  • It's not just young, 15 year old girls that shop at Forever 21... I'm 22 and I shop there and I have a 2 year old daughter. Pregnant women like looking trendy too! I wish I would have known about this line when I was pregnant because I had the hardest time finding clothes that made me feel cute! Maybe they didn't have it 2 years ago, idk - but I'm glad they do now ;)

  • i agree, but i hope it doesnt cause more girls to get pregnant

  • @redrosesblack06 Sex is causing girls to get pregnant. lol - If they see a maternity shirt in the store and THAT sparks the idea for them to get pregnant, they have more issues than F21 can take responsibility for.

  • I pretty much agree its a smart marketing strategy on their behalf considering it is a fact that so many young girls get pregnant each year.

  • ur so rite!! the media always has something negative to say they just want drama... I think since it's affordable it's at a good price range for young moms which is a good thing but doesn't mean 30 something year olds aren't getting pregnant doesn't mean they can't buy the clothes.... I'm a young mom maternity clothes was way to expensive so I just bought larger sizes or wore sweats lol

  • @purplefrosting17 I totally agree I mean the media is always trying to blow things out of proportion for some views and publicity. I know what you mean I know a few of my friends did what you did and just bought bigger clothes its sucha a shame because you should be able to embrace yourself and your style and feel beautiful when your pregnant because it is sucha beautiful thing no matter your age.
