I was in high school when this song was created. At that time, we could listen to it only on the radio, in the "farmaishi" program. The list of those who had requested for the song was read out before the song itself. This list was always so long that it required much more time to be read out than the song itself.. This song was the concurrence of four geniuses, the lyricist, music director, singer, and the movie director, all of them at their very peaks.

Even tho I dont know hindi I like this silky voice of Thalath sab from my child hood even now @ 71. My sincere thanks to the modern technolgy and the persons who helped to download this rare songs which I wont get in Trichy in Tamilnadu. We cant expect such a singer who is having suchy silky voice hereafter. I will never forget this experience in my life. Many years ago one restaurant near Chowpatty in Mumbai was full of collegians crowd. It was very noisy atmosphere. But activity came to a near standstill and there was a pin drop silence as soon as this song was played on a record player by someone in the restaurant. The youth crowd was spell bound by this song.
