i'm listening to Epica's songs for a while,and they was one of my favorite bands,once i heard the other version with the islamic chanting and saw the lyrics i was disappointment,because if there something i respect Europian for,is their respecting for the others freedom of faith and beliefs,still,i'm looking to the good side of Epica.

The live lyrics are different from the CD lryics which is why you don't have the grunts. It's the only song they have really ever done this with.

This is my fave song off TDC, & one of my fave Epica songs ever... But I have to admit I'm not too crazy about this new version. I feel the new lyrics aren't as powerful as the original, & also I don't find the verses' melody the most fitting...

But still nice. & Simone sounds great.

To honest I sort of prefer it this way. I knd of felt mark ruined it. After all does true spiritual awareness and pure sight of innocence make you think of death metal growls? But I really don't like her live voice. Its a little droney and isn't giving her best like she should. Its better at the end.

I liked the grunts, they sort of represtented the priest who urged the couple not to visit a doctor. So he is the ''evil'' one =)

that was my overall opnion on TCC‚ it lacks the usual epica-power and simone focussed on the classical part more which made her do less good on their own work (imo that is)
