Dude seriously,the end of the world/age is most likely a mass alien invasion. Take the best specimens and eliminate the rest. caught up in the air to meet them sounds a lot like beam me up scotty! I'm a Christian and this made me lol because the people who believe this aren't true Christians. True Christians know that only god knows the time of the rapture. Not even JESUS knew the time of the rapture. These people aren't followers of Christ, they're followers of Harold Camping.

Camping put everything on the line for his beliefs...so I respect him for that...he's only human...he was not a hoaxter..or extortionist or liar..the man honestly beileved everything he was telling people..it's ashame that some people have to go to extremes and do nutty things because they think the end of the world is here. @flyer11234 Camping put relatively little on the line for his beliefs. He might not seem like it, but he's actually a multi-millionaire, and will remain such even now. He actually gained way more than he lost with the selling of all his rapture books, and the fact that many of his followers gave their life savings or college fund to him in order to be saved from a nonexistent rapture.

If anything, Camping should go to jail and be sued. At the very least he should return the money he took.
