BTW you cant switch the batteries but the 10 hour battery and 30 days of standby eliminate the need for standby. interesting but like with any new device, I'll wait and see if it 1) gains acceptance and 2) works out all of its bugs before considering purchasing (not to mention that the price point will come done.....$499 - $829 is NOT a great deal in this economy

The iPad does not replace "Netbooks" or "Slates". It replaces magazines, cookbooks, the newspaper, portable DVD player and digital picture frame that don't come close to the display Apple is putting out with the iPad, plus more... The iPad is a GREAT deal for $499 - $829 with 3G. AT&T plans are half or more compared to other carriers.

If someone can show me a REAL demo showing me the UI of other devices than compare with the Apple iPad, with prices and release dates that would be great. Thanks!

You upload video from your desktop or laptop computer or download it direct to the device via Wifi. SD cards can be loaded on using the connection kit that fits in the docking port. Although a dedicated USB port and SD slot would be better when the device is docked.

To be honest, I don't see why people are saying its overpriced. An iPod touch costs 200-300 dollars, and the kindle costs 200-300 dollars, so if you're getting both with a better version of the ipod touch for 500 dollars, its not overpriced.
