  • good bond. but not the best

  • timothy dalton aka mini butt chin

  • Tim Dalton is a very underrated Bond. He is my second favorite JB after Sean Connery. It's too bad that he did not star in Goldeneye.

  • nobody does it better

  • Hahah well done. TIM IS BEST

  • ce james bond est top je trouve

  • Best Bond Movies!!!! ..and Best Bond Actor!!!!

  • wow he was really underrated as bond, i think craig was the worst of them all, just saying, i mean, i'm a big fan, but i didnt even see quantum of solace because it looked so bad.

  • got best hairstyle among all james bond

  • Dalton should have done goldeneye its a shame that he delined coz had he done more than a couple of filmes he wud have prob have been more well known and respected as much as Connery is now i mean he was the most serious bond him and craig are the cloest things too the novels

  • I never saw the Daltons. I mustve seen all the connerys, brosans, and moores. Saying he's better than moore is no compliment haha that guy was just a goofy joke. Many of you are saying hes the best and what Ian Fleming pictured so i'm going to check out one of these pretty quick.

  • @RayBanSteez

Back in the 70's the producers of the Bond movies tried to make the movies more adventure like and good entertainment. People were sick and tired of gritty realism, especially considering the gruesome Vietnam war which made people depressed. Moore himself said he never took the Bond character seriously knowing he is the creation of a manchauvinist author who was very old school, as a matter of fact Bond was a comicbook character and that's how Moore played him.

  • @RayBanSteez In fact if it wasn't for Moore's humorous and lighthearted take on James Bond the whole genre would most likely have died in the early 70's. Lazenby quit after his only movie in 1969 when he was told James Bond was a relic of the past and would NOT survive the 70's. Naturally the producers knew that too. Like it or not Moore's Bond was popular and his movies made a lot of money, for this reason he was asked by the producers to do 7 movies which still is the record.

  • @McLarenMercedes Oh cool didnt know that. He was actually from ian flemming novels unless you mean the comic book like character that bond is with his cheesy lines and ladies man/ action hero. Very interesting thanks. I wrote that comment ages ago haha.

  • @RayBanSteez

So? Are you saying an opinion turns into void in a short matter of time?

  • @McLarenMercedes No I had meant that I had forgotten about the comment I wrote till your reply. I think you misread the tone of my comment. Common mistake all good.

  • Dalton was the most underrated of bonds, License to Kill was Bond at his BEST!!!!!!!!!

  • Timothy Dalton

    Sean Connery

    Daniel Craig

    Roger Moore

    Pierce Brosnan

    george Lazenby

  • The producers themselves said Dalton was the best Bond. They wanted to keep him instead of Brosnan, but Dalton himself refused because it was taking too long. He was aksed several times before too, but either he was too young or had other contracts. Dalton is the Bond how Ian Flemming wanted him to be. Besides, by the ones who know best, The Living Daylights is known to be the best movie of all. By then it simply hadn't got the credits it has know.

  • Idd you are right

  • @maxkramer i heard that brosnan was wanted before dalton, but was under contract elsewhere

  • @floobadoo dalton was chosen first but refused because he was busy filming then the producers thought to hire brosnan but brosnan was forced to decline because he was under contract with remington steele a couple of weeks later the producers asked dalton again and dalton accepted

  • @maxkramer

I agree. Dalton came closest to the personality of James Bond the way he is portrayed in the books. He was ahead of time in the late 80's and I believe Dalton should have made 2-3 more Bond movies in the 90's.

Sae The Living Daylights and Licence to Kill some months back and I think they are better than any of Brosnan's 4 Bond movies.

  • @McLarenMercedes No he does'nt it.

  • @58fenix

Say what? Anybody that has read the novels (so did Dalton) knows Dalton's Bond came closest to the way Bond was portrayed by Ian Fleming. For your info Fleming wasn't so fond of Connery first time he saw him. Only later did he change his opinion of him.

Brosnan was the MTV Bond for the generation that never saw Bond before. Even Brosnan himself admitted he disliked the oneliners and the anachonistic character.

Old stuff packed in a new suit doesn't cut it for me.

  • @McLarenMercedes I would make a statment but

it would be a waste of time to answer.I'm sick of

these debates.Dalton was'nt bond GET OVER IT!!!

  • @58fenix I agree, I think Timothy Dalton was the worst bond ever. I know he was trying to get close to Ian Flemings literary bond but it just didnt work.

  • @McLarenMercedes totally agreed on Dalton's films, the bottom line is they get constantly replayed on TV down here whenever there is a bond season and thats for a reason... they are classics. funnily enough the garbage brosnan films like Die another day and all that shit gets fuck all airtime from what I can see. PS. I hate Mclaren with a passion, just thought you should know that. lol.

  • @maxkramer It sucks that we ended up with Brosnan, who was terrible.

  • @Pinesol131 yeah who did 4 compared to someone who did

    only two!LOL!

  • @58fenix Yes, and they sell more Toyota's then Ferrari's, but does that make them the better car?

  • @Pinesol131 That has nothing to do with what I said buddy. The fact is

if he was anygood he would have did more but did'nt.

  • Comment removed

  • @58fenix The fact is that if you had taken time to read the books and actually knew what James Bond is about then you'd appreciate what Dalton did with the character, instead of worshipping the smarmy, metrosexual that is Pierce Brosnan's James Bond. Moreover, Dalton was going to come back for a third, but decided to pull out due to the exceedingly long time it was taking for the production to actually get going. What I said makes perfect sense. Quality, not quantity, buddy.

  • @Pinesol131 Dude are you blind? You have to be.First of all

your telling me to read the books were you havent read a

word out of the books.BIG QUESTION for you. What did dalton

do for the bond franchise and I'm not talking about performance.

Even though he sucked, but what I mean is what did he do for

bond in years, how many did he do how long did he last. You

cant day much about him because he did'nt bring anything

special for the role.As for connery, moore, brosnan, they have

    been around for years.

  • @Pinesol131 So well craig and he will do more because he is

    such a threat.And Quality,not quantity.What do you know about

it.Giving credit to A MAN that did'nt do anything and your telling

me about QUALITY!LOL!And I dont what to hear anything about

that stupid story about him doing a third and that stupid court

stuff that never happened.I already know the whole story, but

what your problem is you think that happen. But it did'nt.He

sucked.I just wish brosnan was'nt doing RS at the time.

  • @Pinesol131 Because we would'nt be having this stupid debate.

As long as dalton doing two is still around. You words are small

and you will never ever and I mean ever makesence.

  • @58fenix I can't be bothered arguing with you anymore. You're clearly a monumental, biblical moron. You're telling me I don't make sense, when, you can't even spell, or articulate a proper sentence. You accuse me of not reading the books, amongst other things, without backing it up with any proper arguement. Nicely done, mate.

  • @Pinesol131 What a moron that is telling the truth.Look to end

this this is how I know you dont know what you are talking about.

YOU STILL DID'NT ANSWER THE QUESTION????You know why

you cant answer is because you know I am right.Again read the

books and dalton was'nt a success just as connery and moore

    said GET OVER IT!!!!

  • @maxkramer Your wrong that did not happen!

  • In my opinion James Bond and timothy dalton have not fitted to each other

  • you can fuck off

  • sorry! but that's my opinion. accept this or not.

  • If the future bond movies are going to be in this genre, they are going to ruin the whole franchise. No doubt. I personally dont like bond who cries and weeps over lost souls. Daniel may be good but definitely not as bond. Its time they looked for a new bond. Daniel is proving to be worst than Lazenby or Dalton. When brosnan did it, the charecter it was suave and sophisticated. Now it is just soapy feeble and girlish. What a disaster to a charecter that said ' world is not enough'.

  • You got some very good points, but Daniel is a man that do what he is told. It is the directors fault i think.

  • dalton = no 1

  • @sivaprasad2020 I agree that Pierce Brosnan brought a lot of great things to Bond, but I have hopes that Craig will be better in the next one. Casino Royale was his beginning. He lost the only one he ever TRUELY loved and in Quantum he wrapped up the whole mystery about Vesper and I hope the next will be back to good old Bond.

  • @sivaprasad2020 Thats just too bad you dont understand

whats really going on.Real bond fans know!

  • @sivaprasad2020 If you were right then dalton would have been a

very successful bond and brosnan would'nt be bond. There is a

big reason why the bond films are the way there are.But because

your not a bond fan you dont know at all.

  • @sivaprasad2020 you're talking about casino royale, where James Bond is really kind of made. at the end of the movie, and in the novel, he says of Vesper "the bitch is dead". this is him really become James Bond-- that cold, calculating killer. it's easy to see in quantum of solace that he portrays almost no emotion whatsoever.

  • Naw people, here's how the actors go (in my opinion)

    Daniel Craig

    Sean Connery

    Pierce Brosnan

    Roger Moore

    Timothy Dalton

And George Lazenby was a bad 007 actor.

  • I agree...

  • Best Bond after Connery. ;)

  • Dalton movies awful?

They're Better than any Moore may except Spy Who Loved Me.

  • no, except for your eyes only

  • There should be a movie with ALL the 007's getting together to fight, like Hitler or something.

  • timothy daltons my fav 007

  • Personally, I do think Moore is the best Bond, but because I prefer his movie.

On the other hand Dalton is my second fav becuase his films were awesome and LTK is the best Bond film, made so by Dalton's performance and great writing.

  • Connery and Moore were better, but Dalton wasn't bad. Just like Peirce Brosnan, he happened to be cast for movies with awful writing. Daniel Craig is a little more fortunate. He will go down in history as one of the better Bonds, because his movies have decent screenwriters.

  • You must be joking

    The Daniel Craig stories su*ks

He is a good actor, but the movies are horrible

  • Or maybe they don't su*k, but they could have been better ;)

  • Will if they suck so bad Why is he in

the process of making more bond

    Flicks.

  • you stupid fuck dunce....Dalton is the best Bond

you're so typical of the TODAY IS BETTER THAN PAST attitude drones

It's call the dumbing down of our society

  • No need to get hostile and call me names for expressing my opinion. I said Dalton wasn't bad. The movies he was in were awful. Oh, and Craig isn't the best Bond. I happen to think the best acting AND screenwriting were the Connery days. Thanks for your input but no need to be rude.

  • STFU, you virgin wanker.....

  • Great video! Dalton deserves more credit!

  • Timothy Dalton did not do a good job as James Bond. Sir Rger Moore should have done moor Bond Flims. Anyone that does not like Moore as James Bond, is not a real Bond Fan. He is the best.

  • i like roger and timothy also when u speak like that dont forget to rite after u speaking for ur self who are u a kritic guy or something.......?

  • Moore was good BUT he was a horrible actor and he was too old and fat for the role

Moore should have stopped doing 007 after For Your Eyes Only 1981....

Dalton fits Ian Fleming's characterization of Bond in his novels

  • You are wrong. You are clearly not a true Bond Fan. Dalton was James Bland not James Bond. And FYI there is no such thing as being to old to play Bond. Moore became more distinguish and sophisticated as he got older.

  • fucking idiot....read the Ian Fleming's novel you short, fat ass virgin

  • No, you're clearly not a true Bond fan. Moore became worse as he got older - was much tougher in TMWTGG and LALD. Brosnan was terrible, and Lazenby was good.

  • No, Connery was the best. Moore's only great Bond performance was in TMWTGG.

  • Very funny, because The Man With The Golden Gun was my least favorite of Roger Moore's seven films

  • It's an average film yeah, but Moore's performance and Christopher Lee are what save the film.

  • or shall I say timothy

  • tims my favourite bond

  • Nice work, great quality.

  • he is the most under rated bond ever , i rate him in the top 2 with daniel craig

  • nice video, Tim is my best Bond
