Alot of ppl who watch these kinda videos are saying it sounds like AA but honestly wtf? only 'cause the riffs are played with PM'ed open D's nd some melodical A-string playing and breakdowns or what? Not every video containing this actually sounds like AA, maybe a few similarities only. I think in most cases when one says ''it's like AA'', they have no fucking knowlegde about it at all. I think most of them are kids acting like they know all about it because AA is fucking hyped nd they listen it
@Strijkspray In addition I don't think this sounds like AA. Yes there's a breakdown and some ''metalcore''-ish riffing and hammer-on/pull-off riffing but what fucking band doesn't use those styles. It sounds good man keep it up. I'd say try to cut a little bit on the distortion to get a tighter tone (it may be a bit hard to get used to cutting on the gain hehe :-)) but that's more to each preferences. And excuse any spelling/grammar mistakes as english isn't my native language :-)
cool riffing and nice full bodied clear tone. i can't play for shit, my instrument is drums. i can write a few riffs though. i got a few demo's on my page all made on a computer with sample libarys. no real instruments were recorded but they sound almost realistic. have a listen if your interested and let me know what you think. cheers

Try to keep the tempo in the middle - other than that it sounds pretty cool (btw - the beginning part sounds like something papa roach would play.. No offense ahah)
@disdain666666 its pretty sick man. the noise gate is whats best about it. you can make super crisp and tight riffs. i like it more than the boss distortion pedals.
its mad durable to. made all outta metal. heavy, but mad strong.
like the octave thing at the beginning, my band does a similar thing with one of their songs. message when ur bands finished, cos this sounds pretty kwl (Y)
