my guess is that since the shaft has better magnetic properties it has to do less effort and can produce more torque, there is no extra power, but this system has better effeciency what was lost in the past, maybe you can let the motor run on its own on 80rpm and check the heat, then with the EMF you should get a cooler result, i guess.

These motors run between 1700 and 3500 rpm, so in essence it seems that he is just making it seem that he is increasing when it is not. It's not a rev limiter. It's impossible for this type of motor to over-rev.

It's a centrifugal switch that changes the motor from "starting mode" to "running mode" when the motor reaches a predetermined speed.

The magnet placed in front of the shaft would polarized the shaft causing the centrifugal switch in the rear of the motor to energize at a lower rpm, this would drop the motors current and this is not free energy.

only the point of the nominal speed is changed. your equipment that messures the energy input only mesures apparent power, but not effective power.

the motor only needs engergy to accalerate and to compensate losses. when it reaches top speed the effective energy input dropps. by changing the koefficient for the top speed, this process is moved to an higher speed.

your idea of a "perpetuum mobile" bases only on the known inability of digital wattmeters to mesure effective power.

The clicking is from a centrifugal switch inside the motor. The purpose of the centrifugal switch is to disengage a (high current) startup winding after the motor gets up to speed. The purpose of the startup winding is for extra torque at startup. If you look at the bench meter before the click(s) it shows 4 Amps, and after the click(s) it shows 1 Amp.

It took energy to magnetize it, that energy didn't just "appear".

It only takes a very tiny force to accelerate a motor under no load.

Your only fighting the internal friction of the motor.
