can anyone help me with a problem i have with my acer aspire one ? one minute it was working fine then done an update and now the touchpad wont work ive tried the fn f7 thing but still nothing ive been told that the update may of disabled the touchpad if so then how can i enable it again an external mouse wont work either, the computer is basicly new only used a hand full of time . any help would be greatful thank you

how do i remove icons off the pannel at the bottom

open the xfce4-panel -a command again then were the icon is drag it back on to the 'add items to panel' menu and it will ask you if you want to remove it it just say yes :P

when i try to open the web site yu hav in yur description,it wont let me. it says that "do you want to install the update patch?" an i cllick ok an it says "the patch file does not available" it makes no sense, watt do i do?

It took me a minute to figure out exactly you said to type to launch the panel editor. if anyone else is confused It's:

I went to a site and done what he said. and now i have the windows style desktop as soon as i turn it on. I love it its easy to add your own icons its just like windows. I could make a video how to do it. But aspire one has been out for a while now so no one would probably watch it anyway.

well not really i rebooted it twice after i done the none icons thing and it worked fine but after a while i done what he said and they dissapeared completely

I gotta be honest, why would you want a standardized desktop? The fast boot and the interface of the Linpus Lite version is the reason I'd bother using it.
