  • Man, I loved his voice back then, so raw and nobody could compare to them.

  • Gotta love CCR!! What an awesome sound they had!!

  • Fantastic, the best music ever.

  • The Best this number here,The Best I stinkin said ya

  • aguante fogerty

  • THE BEST 3:40 MINUTES OF MY LIFE!!

  • this was the first song I ever learned to play in guitar... well, the first song I could do the guitar solo.... the licks in here were a great inspiration for me. 5 years later, I'm still rockin out, and will be seeing Forgerty for the first time in May, when he comes to Argentina.

    Long Live Good Music!

  • The Kansas city Beatles. all the way from Berkely california.

  • The Kansas city Beatles.

  • JC Fogerty was indeed one bad mf. American rock n roll at it's best!

  • yeeeah

  • Fogerty, flyin' the flannel!

  • i really like the part from 0:00 to 3:40

  • i have this mistake album bought it for a buck its soooooo great

  • Wow! Amazing! I love this song, forever.

  • KVS123...

You the man...huge respects for posting these videos.

You helped me reconnect with CCR.

    Peace.

  • Anybody know what that guitar is that Fogerty is playing? Is it a Rickenbacker?

  • @neffchem2010 yes its a rickenbacker which now a days is rare with that middle pick up. the closest thing to it is the rickenbacker 1996 afg . Im trying super hard to get one. will be close to 3000$ for it

  • I remember riding around in my uncles van with all my cousins when we were kids listening to CCR. My uncles friends were smokin something that smelled funny. I have been hooked on CCR ever since then.

  • @jrohrback He had two of those, one brown colored (which is used here) and the most commonly seen: the black one!

  • fuckin love this song!

  • 1:55 to 2:20 awesome!

  • @nicoases you forgot 0 00 to 3 40

  • You should hear the Southern Culture on the Skids version of this. They do a great job.

  • Thank for the great vid!!!!

  • I think the most underrated band of all time.

  • what a perfomance

  • awesome

  • ccr , cock cock rightious

  • ccr the best

  • best white blues shouter ever, puts plant, jagger, and every other contestant to shame. and man he could play a mean guitar..!

  • @nicomadriz subjectivity. look it up.

  • @kwakky obviously, I only speak for myself my friend!

  • @nicomadriz haha, that's cool. sorry, i thought you were one of those hyperbole-obsessed dorks on this site.

  • this is the shit!:D

  • WHERE'S THE GYPSY MAN I BEEN CURSED

  • OH MY. I have the cd (The concert) is it on DVD? I bet is AWESOME.

  • who cares where it was at this is absolutley kick ass and it was live HOT

  • i got 13 months of bad luck, bound to be some pain.

  • John Fogerty = one of the most talented musicians ever.

what a voice and what a feeling!

  • FOREVER!!!

  • This is from the Albert Hall London Concert recorded 1970 by TVR ...brilliant sound engineering & trecorded with multi-angle video cameras. & that is why the cutaway shots are so great ,,,,I worked in their Video Library and went to this Concert ..completely unforgettable 40 Years ON!!!: Thanks CCR..100%....Stuart Talbot.

  • It's actually, Oakland, CA, 1970. That "Royal Albert Hall Concert" was a mistake the record company corrected after the album was released

  • This concert is definitely RAH. There is footage from the Oakland concert which can be found on youtube but this isn't it.

  • FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ugh...this is SO FREAKIN' GOOD!!!

  • The usual from Creedence, brilliant!

  • Best American band ever ... bad ass swamp rock!

  • Every October 31st, every DJ in the US should play this song. And before they play it, they should say, "It's Halloween, so instead of playing the usual shit-rock, we're gonna scare you back to Creedence! For thirteen months or more!"

  • having watched this vidia for the second time, the mental concept of musical perfection refuses to go away.

    dont get better

  • there is nothing anyone can say that would lessen the impact of this song on the rock world. this is sublimely inspired shit.

that means it is in heavy rotation on Gods cd player.

  • o yeah its in his ipods top 25 LOL!!

  • This is truly awesome, but what amazes is how simple this song is. No tricks, just pure genius.

What really makes this though is the performance, the energy of this band.

  • Oh yeah, this band feckin rocked!

  • As for the flannel shirts, and I can only speak for California in the sixties, flannel shirts were the thing. And, if it was a Pendlelton, you were the s-it. Surfers wore them because they kept you warm after a session and hippies wore them too for some reason. I think it was kind of a back to the country kind of thing.

  • CCR,American rock at it's finest..

NOBODY slings more vibe than John.

  • @spentonmediocrity

Yeah, but he doesn't sound as good as he used to.

  • @TTmaniax

..well yeah, that was his prime and he's old now.

He still sounds pretty damn good though, for any age.

  • @spentonmediocrity

Yeah, but his voice sounds kind of weak and whiny now. Either he has no muscles in his gut or he sold his soul.

Still though, these recordings are all that matters as far as I'm concerned.

  • @TTmaniax Stu Cook? Is that you? Seriously, he sounds different now, but still awesome!

  • Dante Diesel from Brasil. Ï'm 60 years old and trough out all this years, since the syxties, I remain enjoying CCR

  • yeah and you got a cool name man!

  • Well, what can I do, It's a german name. I have the genealogic tree of my relatives since 1855 when they arrived to Brasil and of course I"m relative of Rudolf Diesel the guy of Diesel engine invention. See you man.

  • Who cares what they look like? Just sit back and listen to a song from a time when the only thing that mattered in music was music, not appearance.

  • One of my favorite songs from them :) they're great :)

  • They might look funny to you maybe because maybe you are into hip pop. These guys dressed normal which I don't see why is funny.

  • I don't think everyone wore flannel and leather just because it's 1965. They had their own style, It's not funny but it was a little different. I love CCR..their style is what set them apart and made them one of the greatest rock n roll bands ever.

  • they didnt look funny it's just that you were

    about -20 then.

  • how does that change anything?

  • you'll have to wait for that answer. it will come to you grasshopper.

  • You are funny, NOT!

  • If REALLY want funny hair you have to check out Slade from the 70's.

But yeah,John is the man...how to compete with that guy,he *kills* at everything he does.

  • CCR, one of the best. Grew up listening to this. Fogerty is one of my all time favorites.

  • isso é muito bom :)!!!!

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHN FOGERTY

  • what do u want out of the guy, he's in his 60s and he sounds great, been to three shows the last three years and he rocks hard. his voice has grown older but he can still growl out a rock song better than anyone else. Not only do bands from his era sounds crummy but the concerts usually degenerate into a sing along. John can match the best new bands any day of the week, even being 40 years past his prime. this guy is a marvel.

  • CCR rocks!!!

  • no BULLSHIT rock'n'roll!! enuff said.

  • now thats music

  • this is the only live CCR concert i can find on youtube. are there any other concerts they did?

  • Comment removed

  • look up "ccr the concert" theres one from oakland on KQED i believe its 6 parts long

  • ....and it kicks ass..I remember seeing it on TV when it first came out. Lots of great shots of the freaky people...

  • way cool! Down in San Berdoo

    <<<<near San Berdoo B-)

  • how I miss John's young voice...

  • agreed. His voice in his early twenties was 2nd to none!

  • who doesn't dude? gotta love that growl that young john put in. now his voice is kinda screeching, but he's still awesome!

  • the trajectory of his voice is kinda reverse of most singers. most great singers start out technically at their best, losing range and clarity with age.

in age john sounds clearer than he ever has, and that's the worst trajedy of all. his young voice was raw, pure soul and blues. it seems to me he came to this life to lend his voice to Fortunate Son. that song just doesn't work with a technically masterful voice. his unbridled growl chews it way to the angriest part of your consciousness.

  • they were truth ers from way back

  • Creedence Clearwater Revival LEGENDS

  • AHHH!! EU AMO CREEDENCE.

  • LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this song. Very under-rated.

  • i love this song so much, this is the sound track to my life, awesome the bullshit way he sings this.

  • merci les amis. un régal...

  • I love John Fogerty

  • UM ARRASO!!!!!!!

  • CCR has so many hits

  • But never a number one. Proud Mary hit number 2 but couldn't beat Led Zeppelin's Whole Lotta Love in 1970 I think.

  • unfotunate

  • this terrific music will keep us all young

  • everytime i listen this song i get chills in my spine:D ccr made the best songs in the world

  • m a r a v i l h o s o!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hi P warren , can you give me a direction on where i can maybe find " b " sides ? would i have to buy old singles or are they available another way ?

    this is frkn great .

  • In the old days alot of the time the popular songs were on side A and all the songs that didnt get radio were put were on side B.

  • "Tombstone Shadow" is on the album

    Green River.......It Totally Rocks

  • thanks i'll check it out .

  • I got Green River, The two Album Set, Comos Factory and Fantasy the day they were released for sale in my Area. I still have them and have been offered but will not sell.

    CCR RULZZZZZZZ

  • well i was born in 70 and ive been listening to these guys for as long as i can remember and i have to agree they rock and this shit they call music nowadays sux i dont even listen to the radio anymore

  • Roger that!

  • CCR, one of the greatest and sadly most underrated bands of all time. The trouble is that everything has to be pigeon holed and you can't do it with this band. They are the only band that I know that plays what I call "bayou rock" and therefore are in a class of their own. Long live their music.

  • john fogerty was a great guitarist in his time man

  • i think this clip proves john wasnt just a great singer and frontman, but a great guitarist too!a great party here,i bet!!!

  • without ..CCR....'songs

    music would be incomplete...

I hope U get my poinT....

    ...peace....

  • Ive been a CCR fan all my life..........

One of there Greatest (and thay had alot)

  • Sweet guitar playing by fogerty. Great tune, great band.

  • although there all GREAT this is my fav ccr song. BEST AMERICAN BAND EVER

  • Joe Leer. good choice for your fav, but i'd have to say, for my fav, its, "Have you ever seen the rain?" Great song. phenominal band.

  • "Have you ever seen the rain" is a special son g to me as well! But i play the guitar, and when I was young I very much enjoyed jamming this song (still do!)It has a high amount of energy! Actually i played "Have you ever seen the rain" on the guitar not more than 2 weeks ago while the students at my school sang. Quite a funny feeling:)

  • Is it me, or is this version not on "In Concert" or "Live in Europe"? I don't think Tom was with the band on "Live in Europe"... I would like to know:D Awesome song - My first favorite by CCR. But not the last;)

  • I think Tombstone Shadow was left off some pressings of The Concert, but it is on my copy

which was the full CCR live at the Oakland Coll.1970. Live in Europe was just the three of them, minus Tom-1972

  • this is the best song ever of all times. god bless fogerty.

  • id have to place it in 2nd behind

Heard it through the Grapevine (long version)

  • Fogerty's lyrics are the some of the best!! just listen ...

  • What a Peeeeeefect Song!!!

All kids who play guitar should know this great band.

  • one of the best songs ever!!!!! incredible sound...veru trippi

  • ccr,the best of the best.

  • Their sound is unlike no other. BHBrother 87, this song would not be one to listen to before bedtime, but what about Effigy? That song scares the shit out of me.

  • yeah, many CCR songs are very negative: Tombstone Shadow, Bad Moon Rising, Graveyard Train, Effigy and some others.

  • Walking on the water

  • One of my favorites, as well as Tombstone Shadow

  • don't listen to this too close to bedtime

  • I prefer the Oakland version (the Concert cd)

  • the best bloody american band ever

  • gotta love the guitar solo

  • great vocals

  • great vocals

  • excelente canción ,muy gratos recuerdos

  • highly underrated band...john fogerty was a legend and along with CCR produced a sound of rock n roll that no one else could ever emulate...and what a fucking voice....One of three in the triforce of the Greatest American Rock Bands which also include the Allman Brothers and the Grateful Dead.

  • You're so right i can't agree more, i adore their music & i am Mexican born in Mexico.

  • beaner!

  • anyone know where one can find the documentary clip whit this song? found it a while ago but now it seems it has been removed or something...

  • I have not heard this one before!! Its great!

  • I love this song, dig my band, The Misprints.

  • Muy buena canción, que combinación con la guitarra, está excelente.... si tan solo existieran grupos así...
